INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND MEDIUM
An information processing apparatus comprises a storage to store a plurality of templates including a region in which data can be placed. The apparatus specifies data to be placed in the plurality of templates; and outputs an image in which the data is placed in a template, from among the plurality of templates, and which is based on data to be placed in the region and including text inputted by a user.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM STORING PROGRAM
A drawing unit configured to draw a print target content is instructed to draw a content and a predetermined element. Based on a notification from the drawing unit, which corresponds to the drawing instruction and has been made regardless of completion of drawing to the instruction, drawn data is acquired from the drawing unit. If the acquired data includes the predetermined element, a print apparatus is caused to execute printing based on the acquired data. If the acquired data includes no predetermined element, data is acquired from the drawing unit again without causing the print apparatus to execute printing based on the acquired data.
PRINTING SYSTEM, PRINTING CONTROL APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD FOR PRINTING CONTROL APPARATUS, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A printing system including a server apparatus and a printing control apparatus includes a registration unit configured to register image data, a plurality of pieces of data to be combined with the image data, and categories corresponding to the plurality of pieces of data, respectively, in the server apparatus, a selection unit configured to select at least one category from the categories registered in the server apparatus, a display control unit configured to display the plurality of pieces of data registered by the registration unit based on the at least one category selected by the selection unit, and a printing unit configured to print data by combining data selected by a user from among the plurality of pieces of displayed data with the image data.
Information processing system, information processing method, and information processing apparatus
An information processing system includes a printing device and a processor. The processor is programmed to generate image data of a first form including a predetermined area having a predetermined color that is associated with one or more parts constituting a final product of a job identified by the first form, generate image data of one or more second forms that inherit the predetermined color of the predetermined area from the first form, instruct the printing device to print the first form and the one or more second forms using the image data of the first form and the one or more second forms, and manage the job identified by the first form and the one or more second forms by using the predetermined color of the predetermined area of the first form and the one or more second forms.
Methods for processing documents for use in variable data printing operations
Methods for identifying and generating a preview set of documents for use with variable data printing operations reduce the number of records that are previewed using filtering criteria. Records to be included in the preview set include text objects having text variables, image objects having image variables, and barcode objects having barcode variables. Records for the preview set also include those defined by rules and associated conditions based on data provided to generate the documents. A better representation of the variable data print job is provided.
NOTARIZATION MOBILE APPLICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A notarization system for use in notarizing a document, the system comprising: a handheld notarization device having a printer; and a notarization application configured to be accessible only by a primary user and to operate on a mobile device having a camera, the notarization application being programmed to digitally read identification information from an identification card of a secondary user received via the camera, such that to verify the identity of the secondary user and authenticate the identification card, digitally scan and generate a digital line drawing of a fingerprint of the secondary user received via the camera, digitally generate a notarization endorsement and cause a printing of the notarization endorsement onto a tamper-resistant sticker via the printer, wherein, when the notarization application is being accessed by the primary user, and upon signing of the document by the secondary user, the notarization application causes a printing of the notarization endorsement.
METHODS AND SYSTEM FOR IMAGING OF MOVING PRINTED MATERIALS
A system for capturing images during production of printed material includes an optical device comprising a plurality of cameras arranged in an array with adjacent pairs of cameras having overlapping fields of view. An imaging controller device determines a layout of content on printed material, and determines, based on the layout, an optical system configuration profile. Determining the optical system configuration profile includes selecting one or more cameras for capturing images of regions of interest on the printed material and determining a trigger interval for triggering the selected one or more cameras. The imaging controller device triggers the selected cameras at times determined based on the trigger interval to capture images of the regions of interest on the printed material as the printed material moves in fields of view of the one or more cameras during production of the printed material.
Computer-readable medium, apparatus, printing apparatus and printing system
A non-transitory computer-readable medium stores a computer program for setting a shape of a label causing a computer to execute: receiving an input of first information for setting a width of a second part in a first direction; receiving an input of second information for setting a height in a second direction of a display area of the second part; receiving an input of third information for setting a height in the second direction of an overlap width area of the second part, an end portion of the display area in a third direction being capable of adhering to the overlap width area; receiving an input of fourth information for setting a height of a first protruding portion in the second direction; and setting a shape of the label, based on the input first information, second length information, third length information and fourth information.
Printing apparatus and control method for printing selected status information
A printing apparatus comprises: a print portion configured to perform printing on a print medium drawn from a rolled medium; and a print controller configured to cause the print portion to print status information in response to an instruction to print the status information. The print controller is configured to cause the print portion to print first status information, which is part of the status information, cause the print portion to print at least one of selection items corresponding to pieces of status information, and cause, when at least one printed selection item is selected, the print portion to print second status information corresponding to the selected selection item.
Editing device editing print data via display device for creating composite label with printing device
An editing device is configured to edit print data including first print data and second print data via a display device for creating a composite label with a printing device. The composite label includes a first label and a second label and is created by superposing the second label over the first label. A set of program instructions, when executed by a controller of the editing device, causes the editing device to perform displaying an editing screen on the display device. The editing screen has a first region, a second region, and a composite region. The displaying displays a first label image based on the first print data in the first region, a second label image based on the second print data in the second region, and a composite label image formed by superposing the second label image over the first label image in the composite region.
