A system for capturing images during production of printed material includes an optical device comprising a plurality of cameras arranged in an array with adjacent pairs of cameras having overlapping fields of view. An imaging controller device determines a layout of content on printed material, and determines, based on the layout, an optical system configuration profile. Determining the optical system configuration profile includes selecting one or more cameras for capturing images of regions of interest on the printed material and determining a trigger interval for triggering the selected one or more cameras. The imaging controller device triggers the selected cameras at times determined based on the trigger interval to capture images of the regions of interest on the printed material as the printed material moves in fields of view of the one or more cameras during production of the printed material.

An image processing apparatus extracts a margin portion from an input image in a case in which the input image is a margined formation target image formed so as to include a margin, and automatically executes, based on the extracted margin portion, a print setting of the input image.

An information processing method obtains image data representing an image laid out on a page, and sets, in the image, a target region on which to perform predetermined processing to change a pixel count, based on layout information pertaining to a layout of the image on the page. Based on this setting, the predetermined processing is performed on the target region in the image.

The specific label file may include one or more object regions in which a print target object is to be placed and first text information written in a first object region of the one or more object regions. The first label file may include the one or more object regions and does not include the first text information. The terminal device may generate a first database file associated with the first label file. The first database file may store a first field name corresponding to the first object region and a first text obtained by using the first text information in association with each other. The terminal device may generate first print data by using the first label file and the first database file, and send the first print data to a label printer.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium stores computer-readable instructions executable by a processor of an information processing device that includes a user interface and a display. The instructions are configured to, when executed by the processor, cause the information processing device to accept, via the user interface, an operation to specify a rearrangement condition for a plurality of pieces of image data to be obtained, obtain image data of a single sheet, determine an arrangement order for arranging first image data and second image data in accordance with the rearrangement condition specified by the accepted operation, the first image data being image data of one or more sheets obtained earlier than the second image data, the second image data being the image data of the single sheet, and display, on the display, images contained in the first image data and the second image data, to be arranged in the determined arrangement order.

An image forming apparatus includes a printer configured to print image data on a printing medium, a storage, and a controller configured to compare reference image data with an image printed on the printing medium, wherein the controller is configured to execute layout processing of the image data on the printing medium based on a size of the printing medium and an image size of the image data, calculate offset information in the layout processing of the image data on the printing medium, and store the image data of which the layout processing is executed and the offset information in the storage.
