TECHNIQUES TO PROVIDE SENSITIVE INFORMATION OVER A VOICE CONNECTION
Embodiments may generally be directed components and techniques to detect a request to provide banking account information over a one or more voice connections, identify the requested banking account information, and generate speech data representing the banking account information requested. In embodiments further include communicating the speech data to another device.
Hardware device for entering a pin via tapping on a touch screen display
A device and associated methods for entering a PIN via tapping are disclosed. The device can be configured to determine a number of taps provided by a PIN holder on a touch sensor in representation of a PIN digit and to store the number of taps as a digit in a sequence that represents the PIN. Indications for interaction with the device can be provided to PIN holders in the form of auditory cues. A visually impaired PIN holder may be able to complete a PIN entry process by following the indications for interaction, tapping on a touch sensor a number of times equal to the value of the digit of the PIN to be entered, and performing gestures mapped to commands for the device.
DECENTRALIZED TRUST USING BLOCKCHAIN FOR TRACKING AND VALIDATION OF VOICE COMMUNICATIONS
Systems and methods of authenticating voice data using a ledger (blockchain). Examples include a scalable and seamless system that uses blockchain technologies to distribute trust of a conversation, authenticate persons in a conversation, track their characteristics and also to keep records of conversations. In some examples, smart phones, wearables, and Internet-of-Things (IoT) devices can be used to record and track conversations between individuals. These devices can each be used to create entries for the blockchain or a single device could be used to keep track of the entirety of the conversation. Fuzzy hashing may be used to compare newly created entries with previous entries on the ledger.
Waking up a terminal to receive an ultrasonic signal in reponse to sensor data
A method, a terminal, and a storage medium are provided for controlling a functional circuit. In the method, the terminal acquires sensor data information of a sensor. Further, the terminal wakes up the functional circuit in the terminal to receive an ultrasonic signal in response to determining that the acquired sensor data information meets a preset condition.
Information processing apparatus and method, electronic device and computer readable medium
The present disclosure relates to an information processing apparatus and method, an electronic device and computer readable medium. According to an embodiment, an information processing apparatus includes processing circuitry configured to compare environment data acquired by a user equipment with reference data; determine, based on the comparison, an adjustment for an acquisition manner of the environment data; and perform a control to notify the user equipment of indication information related to the adjustment.
Voice Payment Method and Electronic Device
A voice payment method and an electronic device are provided. The method includes: A first electronic device receives voice information of a user, where the voice information is used to indicate a payment operation performed by the user; when a voiceprint feature of the voice information meets a preset condition, the first electronic device requests a second electronic device to authenticate the user; the second electronic device prompts the user to perform an authentication process, where the authentication process includes one or more of fingerprint authentication, facial recognition, password authentication, verification code authentication, and near field communication NFC authentication; when authentication performed by the second electronic device on the user succeeds, the second electronic device indicates to the first electronic device that authentication performed by the second electronic device on the user succeeds; and the first electronic device completes the payment operation with a payment platform.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SECURELY GENERATING AND PRINTING A DOCUMENT
Systems and methods for securely generating and printing documents are disclosed. For example, processor(s) of a computer system may receive information for the document from a computing device through a network, verify the information for the document, and upon verification, generate document generation data using at least a portion of the information for the document. The document generation data may include document metadata that enables generation of an image of the document and/or the image of the document. Upon the processor(s) verifying first authentication information of a first code associated with a printing device received from the computing device through the network and second authentication information of a second code associated with the computing device received from the printing device through the network, the processor(s) may transmit the document generation data to the printing device through the network, and cause the printing device to print the image of the document.
Electronic device and method for making payment by using audio module
According to various embodiment of the present invention, an electronic device comprises: an audio module including a speaker and a receiver; a codec circuit for transmitting and receiving an audio signal; a magnetic secure transmission (MST) circuit; a switch unit; a memory; and a processor electrically connected with the audio module, the codec circuit, the MST circuit, the switch unit, and the memory, wherein, if a function for requesting a payment is executed when the codec circuit and the audio module are connected with each other, the processor can be configured to: control the switch unit so as to connect the MST circuit with the speaker and/or the receiver, which are included in the audio module; and transmit the MST signal for the payment by using the speaker and/or the receiver, which are connected with the MST circuit. In addition to various embodiments disclosed in the present invention, other various embodiments are possible.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A SOCIAL NETWORKS PAYMENT ACCEPTANCE PROCESSING SYSTEM USING BIOMETRICS, ENCRYPTION, AND TOKENIZATION TO SECURELY STORE INFORMATION
A social media based online payment system that allows a customer to use his/her voice to make a payment. Once the cardholder voice is enrolled into the bank's APP or the first payment is made via the social media application—such as the WhatsApp® messaging application or the Facebook® Messenger application, all future payments can be made with a simple voice command, secured through biometric voice authentication. The customer does not need to share sensitive credit/debit card information every time he/she makes a payment. The system tokenizes and encrypts the card information, and also registers the customer's voice fingerprint. The customer can make future payments to any affiliated merchant with a voice command, as simple as sending a voice message through the social media application. Businesses can send payment requests to their customers through social media messages. The customer may attend to the merchant's messages whenever he/she wishes, without jeopardizing financial safety and without receiving annoying phone calls for payments.
Identifier
A computer device (100), configured to encode identifiers by providing audio identifiers therefrom, is described. The computer device (100) is configured to provide a set of audio signals as respective bitstreams. Each audio signal of the set of audio signals is defined based, at least in part, on audio signal information including at least one of a type, a fundamental frequency, a time signature and a time. Each audio signal comprises a set of audio segments. Each audio segment of the set of audio segments is defined based, at least in part, on audio segment information including at least one of a frequency, an amplitude, a transform, a time duration and an envelope. The computer device (100) is configured to receive an identifier and select a subset of audio signals from the set of audio signals according to the received identifier based, at least in part, on the audio signal information and/or the audio segment information. The computer device (100) is configured to process the audio selected subset of audio signals by combining the selected subset of audio signals to provide an audio identifier. The computer device (100) is configured to output the audio identifier in an output audio signal as an output bitstream, wherein the audio identifier encodes the identifier. Also described is a method of encoding identifiers by providing audio identifiers therefrom.
