MODEL-BASED IMAGE SEGMENTATION

A method and system for mapping boundary detecting features of at least one source triangulated mesh of known topology to a target triangulated mesh of arbitrary topology. A region of interest in a volumetric image associated with each triangle of the target triangulated mesh is provided to a feature mapping network. The feature mapping network assigns a feature selection vector to each triangle of the target triangulated mesh. The associated region of interest and assigned feature selection vector for each triangle of the target triangulated mesh are provided to a boundary detection network. A predicted boundary based on features of the associated region of interest selected by the assigned feature selection vector is obtained from the boundary detection network.

The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus according to the present embodiment includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry is configured to: acquire multiple position data associated with respective multiple two-dimensional image data of ultrasonic related to multiple cross sections; smooth the acquired multiple position data; and arrange the multiple two-dimensional image data in accordance with the smoothed multiple position data to generate volume data.

Methods and systems for shear wave elastography

Various methods and systems are provided for ultrasound imaging. In one embodiment, a method comprises acquiring, with an ultrasound transducer of a scanning apparatus during an ultrasound scan of a patient, an ultrasound image, detecting, with an artificial intelligence model, a region of interest within the ultrasound image including a possible tumor, acquiring, with the ultrasound transducer, an elastic image of tissue within the region of interest, and displaying, with a display device, the elastic image. In this way, shear wave elastography may be automatically targeted to a region of interest, thereby reducing the processing load for the analysis and enabling a higher elasticity imaging frame rate for three-dimensional ultrasound imaging.

SYSTEM FOR 3D MULTI-PARAMETRIC ULTRASOUND IMAGING

Systems and methods are disclosed that facilitate obtaining two dimensional (2D) ultrasound images, using two or more ultrasound imaging modes or modalities, to generate 2D multi-parametric ultrasound (mpUS) images and/or to generate a three-dimensional (3D) mpUS image. The different ultrasound imaging modes acquire images in a common frame of reference during a single procedure to facilitate their registration. The mpUS images (i.e., 2D or 3D) may be used for enhanced and/or automated detection of one or more suspicious regions. After identifying one or more suspicious regions, the mpUS images may be utilized with a real-time image to guide biopsy or therapy the region(s). All these processes may be performed in a single medical procedure.

CRANIAL ULTRASONIC STANDARD PLANE IMAGING AND AUTOMATIC DETECTION AND DISPLAY METHOD FOR ABNORMAL REGIONS

The present disclosure relates to the field of ultrasonic detection, in particular to a craniocerebral ultrasonic standard plane imaging and automatic detection and display method for abnormal regions. The following technical solution is adopted: contour detection is performed on the scanned ultrasound images the skull to construct a skull surface model, and the standard planes in ultrasound images are identified and extracted according to the skull surface model. The symmetry of the standard planes in ultrasound images is used to compare the similarity, so as to obtain the abnormal regions for segmentation and display. The advantages of the present disclosure are as follows: the skull surface model is constructed by detecting the cranial edge, and the coordinate system is established based on this model, thereby the standard planes in ultrasound images can be quickly identified from the scanned ultrasound images.
