The processing circuit is coupled to the physiological feature detection module and used for determining whether the person is an authorized user of the vehicle according to the detected physiological feature of the person, and for opening a car door of the vehicle or starting the vehicle when the person is identified by the processing circuit as the authorized user.

A remote control system for a marine vessel includes at least one fob and a configuration control system configured to detect available devices on the marine vessel to be controlled remotely for the marine vessel, generate a list of available functions for at least one user-selectable fob command based on the detected available devices, present the list of available functions to the user via a fob configuration user interface such that the user can select one or more functions in the list of available functions, identify a system command associated with each selected function so as to configure a set of system commands based on the user-selected functions, and store the user-configured set of system commands in association with the fob identification and the selected fob command. The system further includes a helm transceiver module to effectuate activation/deactivation of the available devices based on the user-configured set of system commands.

Systems and methods for localization and passive entry/passive start (PEPS) systems for vehicles are provided. A communication gateway in a vehicle configured to establish a Bluetooth low energy (BLE) communication connection with a portable device. Sensors are configured to measure signal information about a communication signal sent from the portable device. A localization module is configured to receive the signal information from the sensors and determine a location of the portable device based on the signal information. A passive entry/passive start (PEPS) system is configured to receive the location of the portable device from the localization module and perform a vehicle function including at least one of unlocking a door of the vehicle, unlocking a trunk of the vehicle, and allowing the vehicle to be started based on the location of the portable device. Each of the plurality of sensors are synchronized.

The actuator rotates the crankshaft in a second direction to close the intake port. A spark plug ignites the air fuel mixture to start the engine. A lock control apparatus for a vehicle includes anchors to receive a signal transmitted from a terminal; a communication module to communicate using controller area network (CAN) communication; a detector installed on a door to input a detection signal; and a processor to receive the signal transmitted from the terminal from at least one of the anchors through the communication module, calculate a position of the terminal based on the signal transmitted from the terminal, determine whether to unlock the door in response to the position of the terminal and the detection signal, and control an engine to start. The processor controls the anchors to enter a sleep mode in response to waiting times of the anchors and resets the anchors to release the sleep mode and controls the anchors to enter a waiting mode in response to the number of anchors transmitting the signal from the terminal.
