Display panel and display device
A display panel and a display device are provided in the present disclosure. The display panel includes drive circuits and pixel circuits, where the drive circuits provide control signals for the pixel circuits, the pixel circuits provide drive currents for light-emitting elements of the display panel, and the drive circuits include a first drive circuit and a second drive circuit; and further includes signal line groups. The signal line groups include a first signal line group and a second signal line group. Along the second direction, a width of the first drive circuit is W1, a width of the second drive circuit is W2, a total width of the M0 signal lines in the first signal line group is D1, a total width of the N0 signal lines in the second signal line group is D2, W2>W1, D2>D1, and D2/W2>D1/W1.
DISPLAYS WITH CURRENT-CONTROLLED PIXEL CLUSTERS
A current-selectable light-emitting-diode (LED) display includes pixels distributed in an array of rows and columns. The pixels are grouped in mutually exclusive clusters and cluster controllers are connected to each pixel in a cluster of pixels to control the pixels in the cluster to emit light. Each cluster controller comprises a selectable current source. Each of the selectable current sources can include cluster current sources that are responsive to a current-select signal to enable one or more of the cluster current sources. The pixels can include micro-LEDs and the cluster controller can be disposed between the micro-LEDs. The display can be disposed on a display substrate with signal wires. The signal wires can include separate wire segments that are electrically connected through regeneration circuits that regenerate the signals. The display can be an information display or a backlight.
Display device with sensor
According to an aspect, a display device with a sensor includes: a substrate including a display region and a peripheral region on a periphery of the display region; detection electrodes arranged in a row-column configuration in the display region; and detection lines coupled to the respective detection electrodes. A shape of the substrate in a plan view includes a curve of a curved portion. The detection electrodes include a first electrode and a second electrode having a shape different from that of the first electrode in a plan view. The second electrode is juxtaposed with the curved portion. The detection lines each include a first line coupled to the first electrode and a second line coupled to the second electrode. The second line passes from the display region across the peripheral region and extends to a position overlapping with the second electrode in a plan view.
DISPLAY DEVICE
Disclosed is a display device, including: a substrate including a pixel area and a peripheral area; pixels provided in the pixel area as a plurality of pixel rows and a plurality of pixel columns; data lines configured to provide a data signal; scan lines configured to provide a scan signal; first power lines configured to provide a power source to the pixel columns; and a second power line connected to the first power lines and disposed in the peripheral area. A scan line connected to an i.sup.th pixel row may apply a scan signal to the i.sup.th pixel row, and a branched line branched from the scan line may apply an initialization signal to a k.sup.th pixel row (k≠i). A branched point of the scan line is disposed between a pixel most adjacent to the second power line of the i.sup.th pixel row and the second power line.
ACTIVE-MATRIX SUBSTRATE, DISPLAY PANEL AND DISPLAY DEVICE INCLUDING THE SAME
A technique is provided that reduces dullness of a potential provided to a line such as gate line on an active-matrix substrate to enable driving the line at high speed and, at the same time, reduces the size of the picture frame region. On an active-matrix substrate (20a) are provided gate lines (13G) and source lines. On the active-matrix substrate (20a) are further provided: gate drivers (11) each including a plurality of switching elements, at least one of which is located in a pixel region, for supplying a scan signal to a gate line (13G); and lines (15L1) each for supplying a control signal to the associated gate driver (11). A control signal is supplied by a display control circuit (4) located outside the display region to the gate drivers (11) via the lines (15L1). In response to a control signal supplied, each gate driver (11) drives the gate line (13G) to which it is connected.
Display substrate and display apparatus
A display substrate and a display apparatus are disclosed. The display substrate includes a display region and a peripheral region, the peripheral region includes a circuit region, and the display region includes a plurality of sub-pixels, a plurality of data lines extending along a first direction and a plurality of gate lines extending along a second direction crossing the first direction. The circuit region includes a plurality of driving unit groups. The circuit region includes a first sub-region and a second sub-region that are opposite to each other at two sides of the display region along the first direction, the first sub-region includes a plurality of multiplexing unit groups and the second sub-region includes a plurality of test unit groups.
ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENCE DISPLAY PANEL, FABRICATING METHOD THEREOF, AND DISPLAY DEVICE
The present disclosure relates to an organic electroluminescence display panel, a fabricating method thereof, and a corresponding display device. The organic electroluminescence display panel includes: a base substrate including a display area; a gate driving circuit and a plurality of pixel driving circuits located in the display area; and a plurality of top emission type of light-emitting units located in the display area. An orthographic projection of the gate driving circuit on the base substrate at least partially overlaps with an orthographic projection of the plurality of top emission type of light-emitting units on the base substrate.
Method and system for self addressed information display
A system and method are described for creation of a mosaic display system. A device is assigned an address which may be used to produce unique sequence of illumination which is based on a code determined by the address. A sequence of images of a number of devices may be used to determine a spatial location associated with a device address.
Displays with current-controlled pixel clusters
A current-selectable light-emitting-diode (LED) display includes pixels distributed in an array of rows and columns. According to one embodiment, a display device includes a driver, a pixel circuit disposed to be apart from the driver in a plan view and to be electrically connected to the driver, a first pixel electrode disposed to overlap the pixel circuit in a plan view and to be electrically connected to the pixel circuit, a second pixel electrode disposed to overlap the driver in a plan view and to be closer to an outer edge of a display area than the first pixel electrode, and a relay line disposed between the pixel circuit and the first pixel electrode and between the driver and the second pixel electrode, the relay line electrically connecting the first pixel electrode and the second pixel electrode.
