In some aspects, each performer is equipped with a local audio device capable of locally recording the respective performer's audio while also transmitting it to a master recorder. Functions of the local audio device may be adjusted remotely. The locally recorded audio may be used to repair or replace any audio lost or corrupted during transmission to the master recorder. Such repair or replacement may be performed electronically or via playback of the locally recorded audio. In other aspects, a master recorder is not required since all locally recorded audio may be combined or otherwise processed post-recording. Locally recorded audio may include identifiers to aid in post-recording identification of such audio. A multi-memory unit is provided to facilitate manipulation and processing of audio files. A method for automatically adjusting local audio device power mode based upon recorder status is also disclosed.

An apparatus including a recording system including at least one microphone; a controller including a processor and a non-transitory memory, where the controller is configured to automatically adjust at least one recording parameter for a sound signal from the at least one microphone based, at least partially, upon a distance between the apparatus and a sound source; and a distance determinator configured to determine the distance between the apparatus and the sound source and provide the determined distance to the controller so as to adjust the at least one recording parameter, where the distance determinator includes at least one sensor and does not include the at least one microphone, where the apparatus is a portable electronic device.

Methods, systems and computer readable media for altering an audio output are provided. In some embodiments, the system may change the original frequency content of an audio data file to a second frequency content so that a recorded audio track will sound as if a different person had recorded it when it is played back. In other embodiments, the system may receive an audio data file and a voice signature, and it may apply the voice signature to the audio data file to alter the audio output of the audio data file. In that instance, the audio data file may be a textual representation of a recorded audio data file.

The smart glasses include: a glasses body, and a wireless communication module, microphone(s) and speaker(s) provided on the glasses body. The wireless communication module has a processor connected to the microphone(s) and the speaker(s). The microphone(s) transmit a picked up audio signal to the processor. The processor determines whether the audio signal is a noise signal, calculates a noise level of the noise signal when the audio signal is the noise signal, and adjusts an output volume of the speaker(s) to an output volume corresponding to the noise level of the noise signal according to a preset corresponding relationship between noise levels and output volumes of the speaker(s). The present application can automatically adjust the output volume according to the noise level, and improve the intelligence of smart glasses and convenience of user action.
