A sheathed wire harness includes connectors to be fitted to counterpart connectors, electric wires connected to the connectors, and a fibrous resin cloth that is connected to the electric wires and surrounds the electric wires. The resin cloth includes a cover portion that can be moved to a closed position in which portions of the electric wires near the connectors are covered, and moved to an open position in which the portions of the electric wires near the connectors are exposed.

A communication cable includes two-core communication wires, a drain wire, and a metal foil collectively covering the two-core communication wires and the drain wire. The two-core communication wires are twisted, and the metal foil is wound around the two-core communication wires with an adhesion strength of 1.21 MPa or more. Preferably, the two-core communication wires are twisted with a twist pitch of 20 mm or more and 60 mm or less. The communication cable further may include a restraint formed of a resin coating extruded around the metal foil or a resin film laterally wound around the metal foil.

Electronic wire and cable

An electronic wire and a cable which are excellent in bending resistance even when a diameter is small. The electronic wire has a conductor and a resin insulating layer coated on the conductor. The conductor is a double twisted wire in which twisted wires formed by twisting a plurality of wires are twisted, a diameter of the wire is 0.05 mm or more and 0.2 mm or less, a cross-sectional area of the conductor is 1.0 mm.sup.2 or more and 3.0 mm.sup.2 or less, a breaking elongation of the conductor is 10% or more and 17% or less, a tensile strength of the conductor is 200 MPa or more and 400 MPa or less, and the insulating layer is disposed to be in close contact with the conductor and has a solid structure.

Insulated electric wire and coil

An insulated electric wire includes a rectangular conductor and an insulation film disposed on the periphery of the rectangular conductor. The insulation film is characterized by: the provision of a resin containing an imide structure within a molecule; and a peak value of less than 1.0 for the loss tangent tan δ, which is represented by the ratio between the loss elastic modulus and the storage elastic modulus, as measured in the 50 DEG C. to 400 DEG C. range.

An insulated wire includes an outermost layer including a resin composition including a fluorine-containing elastomer. A ratio of C═O bond to C—C bond (C═O/C—C) on a surface of the outermost layer is not less than 0.5. The resin composition further includes a tetrafluoroethylene-propylene copolymer and an ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene copolymer as the entire base polymer or a portion of the base polymer at a mass ratio ((of the tetrafluoroethylene-propylene copolymer) to (the ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene copolymer)) in a range of 100:0 to 60:40. The resin composition further includes 5 to 60 parts by mass of calcium carbonate and/or silica as an inorganic filler with respect to 100 parts by mass of the base polymer. The resin composition is cross-linked.

An insulation wire includes a conductor, a first insulating layer formed in an outer surface of the conductor, and a second insulating layer formed in an outer surface of the first insulating layer. In the insulation wire, the first insulating layer is a thermoplastic resin layer that is made of polyphenylene sulfide or polyether ether ketone, and the second insulating layer is a thermosetting resin layer.

Peroxide-crosslinkable compositions and processes for their manufacture

A peroxide-crosslinkable composition comprising: (A) A peroxide-crosslinkable polymer, e.g., a polyethylene; (B) A nitrogenous base, e.g., a low molecular weight, or low melting, or liquid nitrogenous base such as triallyl cyanurate (TAC); and (C) One or more antioxidants (AO), e.g., distearylthiodipropionate (DSTDP). The composition is useful in the manufacture of insulation sheaths for high and extra high voltage wire and cable.

An insulated wire having a conductor, and a multilayer insulating layer composed of two or more layers coating the conductor, wherein the innermost insulating layer of the multilayer insulating layer is an insulating layer formed of a crystalline thermoplastic resin having a storage elastic modulus of 10 MPa or more at 300° C. and outer insulating layer(s) other than the innermost insulating layer include(s) an insulating layer formed of a crystalline thermoplastic resin having a melting point of 260° C. or higher and a storage elastic modulus of 1,000 MPa or more at 25° C., and adjacent insulating layers have a relationship such that the storage elastic modulus at 25° C. of the thermoplastic resin of the outer insulating layer is equal to or smaller than the inner insulating layer; and electric/electronic equipment formed using the insulated wire as a winding and/or lead wire of a transformer that is incorporated into the electric/electronic equipment.
