Knife Switch Device

A knife switch device for use in a switchgear or a ring main unit, the knife switch device including a stationary contact member, and a movable contact member, the movable contact member being rotatable about a main revolute joint for selectively opening and closing the knife switch device, the movable contact member including at least a first segment and a second segment, the first segment and the second segment being coupled by an auxiliary revolute joint, wherein the main revolute joint is arranged on the second segment, and wherein a rotation axis of the main revolute joint is substantially parallel to a rotation axis of the auxiliary revolute joint.

Temperature-dependent switch

A temperature-dependent switch having a housing with an upper part and a lower part, wherein a first and a second stationary contact are arranged on the housing, and a temperature-dependent switching mechanism having a movable contact member. In its first switching position, the switching mechanism presses the movable contact member against the first contact and thereby produces an electrically conductive connection between the two contacts via the contact member, and, in its second switching position, keeps the movable contact member spaced apart from the first contact. A closing lock prevents the switch, once having opened, from closing again by locking the switching mechanism permanently in its second switching position in a mechanical manner. The closing lock comprises a substantially disc-shaped locking element and a first latching member, which, in order to lock the switching mechanism, interacts in the second switching position with a second latching member that is arranged on the movable contact member.

DEVICE FOR ACTUATING A ROTATING SHAFT SELECTED FROM A PLURALITY OF PARALLEL ROTATING SHAFTS
20170350507 · 2017-12-07 ·

A device for actuating a rotating shaft selected from a plurality of parallel rotating shafts, comprising a driving shaft supported and actuated by corresponding rotation means, which is provided with a driving gear for the transmission of torque, a plurality of driven shafts each one of which is provided with a corresponding driven gear that is designed to be meshed with the driving gear, the driven gears being arranged on the respective driven shaft in an axial position that is offset with respect to the other driven gears, the driving gear being capable of performing a translational movement axially with means of translational motion for alternate meshing with one of the driven gears, the device further comprising means of prevention of rotation for the driven shafts whose driven gear is not meshed with the driving gear.

DEVICE COMPRISING A TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY HAVING AN OVERRIDE CLUTCH WITH A FREEWHEELING MEMBER
20170343089 · 2017-11-30 ·

A device includes a transmission assembly having a first override clutch. The first override clutch is used especially for transmitting a torque between a first coupling partner and a second coupling partner. The first override clutch engages and disengages in accordance with a change in the load flow between the coupling partners. A freewheeling member which is associated with the first override clutch neutralizes the engagement between the coupling partners. The neutralization is, in particular, temporary.

Trippable Control System for a Breaker Pole and Breaker Gear
20170271106 · 2017-09-21 ·

A trippable control system for one or more electrical breaker poles, comprises a first link pivotable about a first pivot point between first and second positions; a second link pivotable about a pivot axis for connecting to one or more breaker poles, whereby movement of the first link causes the second link to pivot about the pivot axis between a position for opening and a position for closing the breaker pole(s); and a trip mechanism suitable for releasing the first pivot point and for exerting a movement force on the first link to move the first link between the second and third positions when the first link pivots about a second pivot point. Movement of the first link between the second and third positions causes the second link to pivot about the pivot axis between the position for closing the breaker pole(s) and the position for opening the breaker gear.

Tensioning mechanism for clamping a pre-loaded spring of a spring-loaded accumulator drive

A tensioning mechanism for tensioning a pre-loaded spring of a spring-loaded accumulator drive. The tensioning mechanism includes a tensioning wheel coupled to the pre-loaded spring, an intermediate shaft coupled to the tensioning wheel, an idler gear that can be driven by a clamping motor, a freewheel coupled to the idler gear, a locking mechanism for detachably locking the tensioning wheel in a tensioned state of the pre-loaded spring, and a dog clutch configured to couple the freewheel to the intermediate shaft in order to tension the pre-loaded spring and to uncouple same from the intermediate shaft in the tensioned state of the pre-loaded spring.
