RADIO FREQUENCY FILTER EMPLOYING NOTCH STRUCTURE
The present invention relates to a radio frequency filter employing a notch structure, wherein the notch structure is a dual notch structure which comprises: a C notch structure formed in a predetermined region at a partition between two cavities to be cross-coupled; and an L notch structure formed together with the C notch structure in a predetermined region at a partition between two cavities.
BAND-PASS FILTER
Provided is a band-pass filter that includes a plurality of resonators that are electromagnetically coupled to each other. At least one of the plurality of resonators is a specific resonator to which a signal is input from outside or that outputs a signal to the outside. The specific resonator includes a conductor pin, a first surrounding conductor that surrounds the conductor pin in a radial direction, a dielectric that is positioned between the conductor pin and the surrounding conductor, a second surrounding conductor that surrounds the dielectric in an axial direction of the conductor pin, and an intermediate conductor that extends in a direction crossing the axial direction of the conductor pin and that electrically connects the conductor pin to the first surrounding conductor or the second surrounding conductor.
Dielectric filter and communications device
This application provides an example dielectric filter and an example communications device. The dielectric filter includes a dielectric block. At least two resonant through holes that are parallel to each other are provided in the dielectric block. The resonant through hole is a stepped hole. The stepped hole includes a large stepped hole and a small stepped hole that are arranged coaxially and that are in communication. The small stepped hole passes through a first surface of the dielectric block. The large stepped hole passes through a second surface of the dielectric block. A stepped surface is formed between the large stepped hole and the small stepped hole. The surfaces of the dielectric block are covered with conductor layers. The conductor layers cover the surfaces of the dielectric block and inner walls of the large stepped hole and the small stepped hole. A conductor layer of the inner wall of the large stepped hole is short-circuited with a conductor layer of the second surface. A conductor layer of the inner wall of the small stepped hole is short-circuited with a conductor layer of the first surface. A loop gap that does not cover the conductor layers is provided on the stepped surface. The loop gap is arranged around the small stepped hole.
RF dielectric waveguide filter
A dielectric waveguide filter comprising a block of dielectric material including exterior surfaces covered with a layer of conductive material. A plurality of resonators are formed on the block. RF signal input/outputs are formed on the block. An RF signal is transmitted through the block in a serpentine pattern. In one embodiment, a RF signal transmission channel is formed in the block and extends between and surrounding selected ones of the plurality of resonators in a serpentine pattern. In one embodiment, selected ones of the plurality of resonators are comprised of respective islands of dielectric material formed on one of the top and bottom surfaces of the block of dielectric material surrounded by the channel and respective counter-bores formed and extending into the respective islands of dielectric material. In another embodiment, the respective islands of dielectric material and counter-bores defining the respective resonators are formed in opposed top and bottom surfaces of the block.
Dielectric electromagnetic structure and method of making the same
A method of making a dielectric, Dk, electromagnetic, EM, structure, includes: providing a first mold portion comprising substantially identical ones of a first plurality of recesses arranged in an array; filling the first plurality of recesses with a curable first Dk composition having a first average dielectric constant greater than that of air after full cure; placing a substrate on top of and across multiple ones of the first plurality of recesses filled with the first Dk composition, and at least partially curing the curable first Dk composition; and, removing the substrate with the at least partially cured first Dk composition from the first mold portion, resulting in an assembly having the substrate and a plurality of Dk forms including the at least partially cured first Dk composition, each of the plurality of Dk forms having a three dimensional, 3D, shape defined by corresponding ones of the first plurality of recesses.
Dielectric filter, transceiver device, and base station
Example dielectric filters, transceiver devices, and base stations are described. One example dielectric filter includes a dielectric block whose surface is covered with a metal layer, where the dielectric block includes at least two resonant cavities. The dielectric block is provided with a via hole, the via hole is located between two adjacent resonant cavities, and an inner wall of the via hole is covered with a metal layer. A first partition ring is disposed on the surface of the dielectric block and is surrounding at least one opening of the via hole, and the dielectric block is exposed in an area enclosed by an inner edge of the first partition ring and an outer edge of the first partition ring.
DIELECTRIC FILTER
A dielectric filter includes: a resonator body formed of dielectric material; surrounding dielectric portion present around the resonator body and formed of dielectric material having a relative permittivity lower than the dielectric material used to form the resonator body; and an input/output conductor portion formed of a conductor and configured to perform at least one supply of an electromagnetic wave to the resonator body and reception of an electromagnetic wave from the resonator body. The resonator body has a first end face and a second end face located at opposite ends in a first direction. The input/output conductor portion is located either at least part of the input/output conductor portion is contained in a space formed by shifting a virtual plane corresponding to the first end face in the first direction away from the second end face, or the input/output conductor portion is in contact with the space.
Resonant cavity filter comprising a dielectric resonator mounted to a hollow conductive body by a threaded dielectric fastener
Resonant cavity filters include a conductive housing having a floor. A dielectric resonator is mounted to extend upwardly from the floor. The dielectric resonator has a cylindrical body with a longitudinal bore that defines an inner sidewall. The longitudinal bore has a variable transverse cross-sectional area. A threaded dielectric fastener is at least partially inserted within the longitudinal bore of the cylindrical body. The dielectric resonator may have a protrusion that extends inwardly from the inner sidewall.
Modular microwave source with embedded ground surface
Embodiments disclosed herein include a source for a processing tool. In an embodiment, the source comprises a dielectric plate having a first surface and a second surface opposite from the first surface, and a cavity into the first surface of the dielectric plate. In an embodiment, the cavity comprises a third surface that is between the first surface and the second surface. In an embodiment, the source further comprises a dielectric resonator extending away from the third surface.
Dielectric filter and communications device
This disclosure describes a dielectric filter and a communications device. In one example, the dielectric filter includes at least two dielectric resonators, a first through-hole is disposed between at least one pair of adjacent dielectric resonators, and the first through-hole is configured to cut a magnetic field between the at least one pair of adjacent dielectric resonators. In some implementations, a magnetic field distribution in the dielectric filter may be cut via the first through-hole, so that a magnetic field distribution area is reduced, and a high-order harmonic wave frequency can be increased, thereby improving a remote suppression capability and meeting the specification requirements.
