TERMINAL BLOCK
A terminal block includes an insulative seat, a flexible arm latch and a slider. The insulative seat has a slot and a sliding trough. A longitudinal direction of the sliding trough is parallel to a depth direction of the slot. The flexible arm latch is disposed on the insulative seat. A longitudinal direction of the flexible arm latch is parallel to the depth direction of the slot. The flexible arm latch has a first interfering portion and a hook. The slider is disposed in the sliding trough and longitudinally movable along the sliding trough. The slider has a second interfering portion. Either the first interfering portion or the second interfering portion is a slope. The first and second interfering portions abut against each other to push the slope to deflect the flexible arm latch to make the hook retract when the slider is traveling toward the slot.
LOW INSERTION FORCE CONTACT TERMINAL
A low insertion force contact terminal which has a conductor mating portion, a securing portion and a substrate mating portion. The conductor mating portion is configured to terminate a conductor therein. The securing portion is configured to secure the terminal in a terminal receiving cavity of a housing. The substrate mating portion extends from the securing portion. The substrate mating portion has at least two sections which have curved portions thereon. The at least two sections move independently, which allows the curved portions to exert a normal force on walls of through holes of a substrate to which the contact terminal is mated which is sufficient to provide a stable electrical connection while allowing for a low insertion force.
Printed circuit board plug-in connection
A printed circuit board plug-in connection is provided for transmitting the highest possible currents between a printed circuit board and an electrical cable, the printed circuit board plug-in connection being manufactured as simply and economically as possible. For this purpose, a plug-in connection having a slotted pin contact is proposed. Said pin contact is arranged in an insulating body and can be inserted directly into a passage contact opening of a printed circuit board in order to establish electrical contact. The insulating body has detent arms, which releasably engage in detent openings of the printed circuit board in a locking manner at the same time. By means of dovetail connections, several insulating bodies can be fastened to each other, i.e., can be cascaded with each other. A strain relief element can also be fastened to an insulating body by means of the dovetail connection in order to provide strain relief for individual conductors of the cable.
Electrical connector assembly
An electrical connector assembly that can quickly and easily be secured to two electrically conductive structures, such as a flat flexible conductor having multiple electrically conductive traces and a printed circuit board having multiple electrically conductive traces, without the use of specialized tools and/or methods is disclosed. The electrical connector assembly includes a housing having a plurality of slots defined therein. An electrical contact is disposed within each of the plurality of slots. Each electrical contact includes a first portion engaged with the housing, a second portion adapted to engage the first electrically conductive structure when inserted within the housing, and an intermediate portion located between the first portion and the second portion and adapted to engage the second electrically conductive structure when inserted within the housing.
Spring Clip and Connector For a Flat Flexible Cable
A spring clip has a first beam and a second beam connected to the first beam. The second beam is resiliently deflectable toward the first beam from a relaxed position distal from the first beam to a compressed position proximal to the first beam. The second beam has a spring latch disposed at an end of the second beam and extending toward the first beam. The spring latch engages the first beam to secure the second beam in the compressed position.
MECHANICAL SHIELDING FOR CIRCUIT COMPONENTS OF A PLUGGABLE NETWORK INTERFACE DEVICE
A pluggable network interface device is provided comprising a split-shell housing having a shielded side portion that protects a side of a circuit substrate disposed in the split-shell housing. The split-shell housing comprises a first shell portion that covers a first side of the circuit substrate and a second shell portion that covers a second side of the circuit substrate that is arranged opposite the first side. The shielded side portion is inset from a width of the split-shell housing and offset a distance from an electrical interconnection end of the circuit substrate. The shielded side portion is arranged at least partially in a notch of the circuit substrate disposed at the electrical interconnection end of the circuit substrate.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR FOR COMPACT SYSTEM
An electrical connector for use in a compact system. The connector includes a housing having a pair of towers and an elongated slot between the towers. Each tower has an ejector, a rotator, and a locking member disposed therein. The rotator has a first arm coupled to the ejector and a second arm extending into the slot for coupling to a mating component inserted into the slot. When the first arm is pushed down by the ejector, the second arm pushes up the mating component, causing the locking member to deform so as to release the mating component. When the second arm does not push the mating component, the locking member is in its rest state and locks the mating component in the slot; Such a configuration enables the connector to unmate with a mating component without latches that move outside a perimeter of the connector.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR, ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY, ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR WITH CIRCUIT BOARD, AND ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY WITH CIRCUIT BOARD
The signal transmission paths are transmission path pairs 22, 24 located spaced apart in the arrangement direction of the signal transmission paths 22, 24, the transmission path pairs 22, 24 have two types of pairs, straight pairs 22 and cross pairs 24, the straight pairs 22 and the cross pairs 24 are alternately disposed in the arrangement direction, the signal transmission paths arranged in the arrangement direction form signal transmission path rows, a plurality of the signal transmission path rows are provided, and of two adjacent signal transmission path rows, at least a part of the transmission path pairs 22, 24 of one signal transmission path row in the height direction is offset in the arrangement direction with respect to the transmission path pairs 22, 24 of the other signal transmission path row.
BOARD-TO-BOARD SOCKET
Provided is a board-to-board socket, comprising a socket body, a socket terminal, and a socket reinforcing member; said socket body comprises a bottom wall, socket side walls formed by protruding upward from two longitudinal ends of the bottom wall, socket guide parts formed at two lateral ends of the socket body, and an island part; the socket guide part comprises a plug guide part receiving cavity, a longitudinal peripheral wall, and a pair of lateral peripheral walls; the socket reinforcing member comprises a main body part covering surface of the longitudinal peripheral wall, lateral peripheral wall covering parts which extend from two longitudinal sides of the main body part in the lateral direction and cover the lateral peripheral walls, a protection part formed by bending and extending inward from top ends of the lateral peripheral wall covering parts, and an elastic arm part continuously extending from the protection part.
Electrical connector assembly with improved shielding effect and easy installation
An electrical connector assembly includes an electrical connector and a metal shielding shell. The electrical connector includes an insulating body and a number of conductive terminals. The insulating body includes a slot. Each conductive terminal includes an elastic abutting portion for abutting against the circuit board. The metal shielding shell includes a receiving cavity for receiving a mating connector. When the mating connector is inserted into the receiving cavity and has not yet made contact with the conductive terminals of the electrical connector, a better shielding effect can be achieved. Besides, by electrically connecting the conductive terminals and the circuit board in a mutually abutting manner, the requirement on the complexity of the circuit board manufacturing process is reduced.
