High-speed connector

A high-speed connector includes an insulating housing, and a first terminal assembly mounted in the insulating housing. The first terminal assembly includes a plurality of first terminals including a plurality of first grounding terminals, a first base body, and a first shielding plate disposed under the first base body. The plurality of the first terminals are fastened to the first base body. The first shielding plate has a first base plate, a first metal layer and a plurality of first ribs. Several portions of a top surface of the first base plate extend upward to form the plurality of the first ribs. The first metal layer is a pattern with a plurality of pores. Several of the first grounding terminals contact with the first metal layer which is attached to top surfaces of the plurality of the first ribs to form a grounding structure.

Stacked dual connector system

An electrical connector includes a housing and a plurality of electrical conductors held within the housing. The housing includes a mating shroud protruding forward from a front wall of the housing and defining a port that receives a mating circuit card therein. Each of the electrical conductors includes a mating contact disposed within the mating shroud and a mounting contact that projects beyond a bottom end of the housing to electrically connect to a circuit board. The mounting contacts are located within a termination area of the electrical connector.

An electrical connector comprises an interface element attachable to a circuit board and a plurality of peripheral connectors. The interface element has an inner contact electrically contacting the circuit board and a connecting interface. The peripheral connectors are each individually matable with the connecting interface. The peripheral connectors include a peripheral plug connector having a plurality of plug connector pins and a peripheral lead connector having a plurality of wires.

BOARD-TO-BOARD SOCKET AND BOARD-TO-BOARD CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY

Provided is a board-to-board socket, including a socket body, socket terminal, and socket strengthener. The socket body includes a bottom wall, socket side walls, socket guide parts formed at lateral ends of the socket body, and an island part protruding upwards from the bottom wall. Socket guide parts each include a plug guide part receiving cavity, longitudinal outer peripheral wall, and lateral outer peripheral walls. The socket strengthener includes a main body part, lateral outer peripheral wall, and elastic arm parts. Tops of the elastic arm parts bend and extend towards longitudinal outer sides to form hitching part cavities hitched on top faces of the lateral outer peripheral walls.

A socket having a housing, a plurality of contacts, a plurality of insulating members and a plurality of conductive resin members is described. The housing is in a box shape with an opening and is provided with a matrix of penetration holes at a bottom portion. The plurality of contacts include contacts for ground and respective pairs of contacts for high-speed differential transmission. The plurality of insulating members support the plurality of contacts and are pressed into the housing so that the contacts are exposed on an opposite side of the opening from the penetration holes of the housing. The plurality of conductive resin members are fitted at positions of the plurality of insulating members in contact with the contacts for ground.

A plug-in connector device has a printed circuit board element, a first plug-in connector element which is electrically and mechanically connected to the printed circuit board element by a soldered connection, and a second plug-in connector element which is electrically and mechanically connected to the printed circuit board element by electrical press-in contacts. The second plug-in connector element has a housing section with a recess in which the first plug-in connector element is arranged in such a way that outer surfaces of the first plug-in connector element make contact with inner surfaces of the recess.

Apparatus including an elongated body to couple with a surface mount connector to reduce or prevent deformation of the surface mount connector during soldering of the surface mount connector to a substrate, the surface mount connector including a connector housing having a first end portion and a second end portion.
