In some embodiments, the memory device may include a PCB insertable in the mobile device. The PCB may include a first chip (a micro SD device); a second chip (a SIM card); a first contact electrically coupled with the first chip, to provide a first communication interface between the first chip and the mobile device; and a second contact electrically coupled with the second chip, to provide a second communication interface between the second chip and the mobile device. The first and second communication interfaces may provide for respective communications between the micro SD device and the mobile device, and between the SIM card and the mobile device, at the same time, when the PCB is removably coupled with the mobile device.
Shunt device
A shunt device is used to be mated with an adapter socket of a connector configured on a circuit board to shunt electric current of the connector. The shunt device includes an insulating housing and a first electric terminal. The insulating housing has a bottom surface. The first electric terminal is fixed on the insulating housing. The first electric terminal has a first contact portion and a first leg that extends out of the insulating housing from the first contact portion, so as to provide a first cable connection surface for being connected to at least one wire cable. The first contact portion is exposed from the bottom surface and has a contact surface that is parallel to the bottom surface, so as to abut against a shunt contact surface of the adapter socket.
Electrical connector having an outer conductor and a rear metallic plate secured to the outer conductor and a terminal with a protrusion exposed to air and spaced a predetermined distance from the rear metallic plate
An electrical connector includes: an insulator; a terminal secured in the insulator and having a front mating portion, a tail portion, and an intermediate portion; an outer conductor receiving the insulator; and a rear metallic plate secured to the outer conductor, wherein the terminal intermediate portion includes a vertical part having a protrusion exposing rearwardly to air and spaced a predetermined distance from the rear metallic plate.
Backplane connector with improved shielding effect
A backplane connector includes a wafer and a mounting block. The wafer includes a number of conductive terminals, an insulating frame, a first metal shield and a second metal shield. The conductive terminal includes a contact portion, a tail portion and a connection portion. The conductive terminals include differential signal terminals, a first ground terminal and a second ground terminal. The first metal shield includes a first protruding piece. The second metal shield includes a second protruding piece. The mounting block includes a slot for passing through the tail portions of the differential signal terminals. The first protruding piece and the second protruding piece are at least partially inserted into the slot. This arrangement can provide better shielding adjacent to the tail portions of the differential signal terminals, reduce crosstalk, and improve the quality of signal transmission.
Terminal module and backplane connector having the terminal module
A terminal module includes a number of conductive terminals. The conductive terminals include a first signal terminal and a second signal terminal. A contact portion of the first signal terminal includes a first contact arm, a second contact arm and a first clamping space. The first contact arm includes a first contact end portion and a first contact arm body portion connected with the first contact end portion. The first contact arm body portion includes a first end connected to the first contact end portion and a second end opposite to the first end. From the first end to the second end, a width of the first contact arm body portion gradually increases. As a result, it is beneficial to improve the contact impedance when it is mated with a mating backplane connector. ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR HAVING IMPROVED SHIELDING SHELL
An electrical connector includes a housing defining a base portion and a tongue portion, two rows of terminals and a shielding shell. The tongue portion defines a thickened step at a root to the base portion, the base portion defines a front and a rear side, and an upper and a lower retaining slots. The shell is retained on the base portion and surrounding the tongue portion so as to define a mating cavity between the shell and the tongue portion. The shell defines an upper and a lower-front stopping portions inwardly received in corresponding retaining slots to prevent a forward movement of the housing. The upper and lower front stopping portions extend forwardly into the mating cavity across the front side of the base portion so as to prevent a mating connector from damaging the housing during the mating connector is inserted into the mating cavity.
