Connector, Cable Connection Assembly and Connector Assembly
A connector includes an insulator, a plurality of pairs of terminals provided on the insulator, and a resistance element. The plurality of pairs of terminals include at least one pair of cable terminals electrically connected with a cable and at least one pair of vacant terminals that are unused. The resistance element is electrically connected between each pair of vacant terminals.
Waterproof cable and waterproof cable manufacturing method
To provide a waterproof cable that is easily manufactured and improves waterproofness. The waterproof cable includes: a first cable; a second cable, an end of which is connected with an end of the first cable; a first resin member that coats a connecting part and is formed by insert-molding; a second resin member that coats the first resin member and is formed by insert-molding; and a third resin member that coats the second resin member and is formed by insert-molding.
CERAMIC HEATER CONNECTOR
A connector includes a shell, an insert that fits within the shell, and a socket that extends within the insert. The socket includes a hood, a body within the hood, an annular tine extending from the body within the hood, an annular lip extending around the tine adjacent an end of the tine, and a cavity formed within the tine.
NOVEL CABLE AND CABLE-SEALING STRUCTURE OF CONNECTOR
Disclosed are a novel cable and a cable-sealing structure of a connector. The novel cable includes a conductor, an insulating layer, a shielding layer, an outer sheath, and a sealing protection ring. When the cable is installed inside a connector body, a circular seal is hooped outside the outer sheath at an area corresponding to a position of the sealing protection ring. When the circular seal presses the outer sheath of the cable, the sealing protection ring can support the outer sheath, so that the outer sheath may not be deformed. After long-term use or a high-temperature aging test, the outer sheath of the invention has a much smaller shrinkage of a diameter than an outer sheath without the sealing protection ring, therefore, the sealing performance and the safety of the connector are improved, and the service life of the connector is greatly prolonged.
Connector manufacturing method and connector
A connector manufacturing method includes: a first insertion process of inserting a conductor held by a housing through an annular seal member; a second insertion process of inserting the conductor through an annular portion of a support member; a pushing-in process of pushing the seal member into a gap between an inner circumferential surface of a recess in the housing and the conductor by pressing the seal member using the annular portion; and an engagement process of making the annular portion support the seal member at a predetermined position by engaging the support member and the housing, wherein the predetermined position is a position before a bottom portion of the recess.
COAXIAL CABLE AND CONNECTOR ASSEMBLIES AND METHODS OF ASSEMBLING SAME
The present disclosure describes a coaxial cable-connector assembly. The coaxial cable-connector assembly including a coaxial cable, a coaxial connector, and a polymeric sleeve. The outer connector body is swaged or crimped onto the polymeric sleeve. An end of a corrugated outer conductor of the coaxial cable is flared radially outwardly to form a flared end that secures the polymeric sleeve onto the coaxial cable. The polymeric sleeve separates the corrugated outer conductor of the coaxial cable from the outer conductor body of the coaxial connector to prevent direct radial electrical connection therebetween and the polymeric sleeve axially forces the flared end of the outer conductor of the coaxial cable in contact with a shoulder of the outer connector body of the coaxial connector. Additional coaxial cable-connector assemblies and related methods of assembling the same are described herein.
HYBRID CONNECTION SYSTEM USING FACTORY CONNECTORIZED PIGTAIL
A hybrid optical and electrical connection system includes a connectorized pigtail and a closure. The connectorized pigtail includes: a) a stub cable including a jacket containing at least one optical fiber and at least two electrical conductors, the stub cable having opposite first and second ends; and b) a hybrid optical and electrical connector that is factory terminated at the first end of the stub cable. The closure mounts at the second end of the stub cable for enclosing optical and electrical connections between the second end of the stub cable and a field cable.
TERMINAL BLOCK
A terminal block includes a casing, a terminal portion and an SD switch. The casing is provided to an electrical device. The terminal portion is provided on the casing and has a terminal cover that is fitted to a base for accommodating terminals. The SD switch is provided to the casing, and has a female connector and a lever portion that is fitted to the female connector to mechanical connect and disconnect from the electrical device. The lever portion constitutes an interlocking portion that restricts a disengaging operation of the terminal cover, when the lever portion is fitted to the female connector.
Connector having an inner conductor engager
A connector includes: (i) an inner conductor engager comprising at least one tab being flexible to define an opening engager, (ii) a driver configured to drive the inner conductor engager to a desired position along the inner conductor, and (iii) a housing coupled to the inner conductor engager. The opening is configured to receive an inner conductor of a coaxial cable and extends through the entire inner conductor engager thus allowing the inner conductor to electrically connect to an interface port.
ELECTRICAL COAX CONTACT SYSTEM
An electrical connector including an electrically conductive shell sized to receive and retain an electrically insulating housing insert, where the housing insert includes a cavity for receiving and retaining a wire-terminating electrical contact therein. The shell and housing insert each including keying features designed to cooperate with one another to resist independent rotation of the housing insert within the shell. The electrical connector further includes a wire sealing grommet coupled to the housing insert to improve connector performance and minimize arcing issues.
