Preformed solder-in-pin system
A preformed solder-in-pin system for use with electrical connectors. The preformed solder-in-pin system generally includes a connector pin having an open cavity at one end, into which a preformed solder member can be first inserted and then pressed, rather than melted, in place, such that voids and air spaces within the cavity are eliminated. The preformed solder-in-pin system can be assembled in high quantities, where the preformed solder members are placed in a fixture and the fixture is placed on a shaker table, so that large numbers of connector pins, pre-installed in connector grommets, can be inserted largely simultaneously.
Double-Sided Partial Molded SIP Module
A semiconductor device has a substrate and a first component disposed over a first surface of the substrate. A connector is disposed over the first surface of the substrate. A first encapsulant is deposited over the first component while the connector remains outside of the first encapsulant. A shielding layer is formed over the first encapsulant while the connector remains outside of the shielding layer. A second component is disposed over a second surface of the substrate. A solder bump is disposed over the second surface of the substrate. A second encapsulant is deposited over the second surface of the substrate. An opening is formed through the second encapsulant to expose the solder bump. A solder ball is disposed in the opening. The solder ball and solder bump are reflowed to form a combined solder bump.
Preformed Solder-in-Pin System
A method for inserting preformed solder members into connector pins for use with electrical connectors. The method generally includes a connector pin having an open cavity at one end, into which a preformed solder member can be first inserted and then pressed, rather than melted, in place, such that voids and air spaces within the cavity are substantially eliminated. The method allows for inserting solder members in high quantities, where the preformed solder members are placed in a fixture and the fixture is placed on a shaker table, so that solder members can be inserted into large numbers of connector pins that are pre-installed in connector grommets, largely simultaneously.
Terminal fitting and wire with terminal fitting
A terminal fitting includes a soldering portion (11) to which a conductor (91) of a wire (90) is to be soldered, solid solder (60) for soldering the conductor (91) to the soldering portion (11) in a solid state, and a holding portion (20) that holds the solid solder (60) until the solid solder (60) is melted and the conductor (91) is soldered. The conductor (91) is connected to the soldering portion (11) by melting the solid solder (60) held in the holding portion (20).
Robotic Wire Termination System
A robotic wire termination system for efficiently connecting a plurality of wires to an electrical connector. The robotic wire termination system generally includes a frame, a connector support attached to the frame, a robot manipulator having at least one arm, a heating device attached to the at least one arm and a control unit in communication with the robot manipulator to control the operation of the robot manipulator. The arm of the robot manipulator is adapted to move the heating device so that the heating device can apply heat to a selected connector pin of the electrical connector.
Terminal connection comprising an HF conductor, in particular for a coaxial cable, and method for producing said terminal connection
A terminal connection comprises an HF conductor and a terminal apparatus. The terminal apparatus comprises an HF conductor receiving element comprising an HF conductor receiving hole. At least one solder deposit is arranged between the HF conductor and the HF conductor receiving element of the terminal apparatus to establish an electrically conductive connection. There is also an insertion sleeve comprising a receiving opening into which the HF conductor is inserted. The insertion sleeve is inserted into the HF conductor receiving hole in the HF conductor receiving element via an insertion opening on the plug-in side. The insertion sleeve is undeformable and/or is formed from a dielectric. It may also be adapted, in terms of the circumferential lateral face thereof, to an inner face of the HF conductor receiving hole. It may also comprise a receiving channel, which is used for receiving the at least one solder deposit.
HERMETICALLY SEALED ELECTRICAL PENETRATOR ASSEMBLY
A penetrator device has an outer housing of non-conductive, insulating material having a through bore, at least one conductive pin formed in one or two parts extending through the housing and having a first end portion and a second end portion extending out of the respective first and second ends of the housing, a first cladding layer bonded over the first end portion of the pin to form a first bonded assembly, a second cladding layer bonded over the second end portion of the pin to form a second bonded assembly, and the material of the first and second cladding layer comprising a corrosion resistant conductive material different from the pin material.

CABLE CONNECTOR FOR COAXIAL CABLE, COAXIAL CABLE ASSEMBLY AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
The invention relates to a cable connector for a coaxial cable, including an inner conductor (1) having a proximal section with a receiving hole (6) configured to receive a free end of an inner conductor of a coaxial cable; an outer conductor (2) having a distal chamber (7) and a proximal chamber (8) configured to receive an end section of the coaxial cable; and an insulator (3) for insulating the inner conductor from the outer conductor of the cable connector, the insulator being received in the distal chamber. At least the proximal section of the inner conductor of the cable connector comprises lead brass, and the proximal section can be pressed for grasping the free end of the inner conductor of the coaxial cable. The invention also relates to a coaxial cable assembly including such a cable connector and a method for manufacturing the same. The cable connector can be manufactured cost-effectively and reliable connection between the cable connector and the coaxial cable can be ensured.
