The present invention relates to rotary devices, such as an electric motors and power generators, having dual and multiple air gaps. Disclosed is a rotary device characterized by comprising a rotor part, a stator part, an inner support part, and a housing part. The inner support part is coupled and fixed to the housing part. The stator part includes: an inner stator part which includes an inner iron core coupled and fixed to the inner support part, and an inner wire wound on the inner iron core; and an outer stator part which includes an outer iron core coupled and fixed to the inner circumferential surface of the housing part, and an outer wire wound on the outer iron core. The rotor part includes: a rotor-side magnetic force application part which has, on the inner circumferential side, the inner stator part and an inner air gap, and has, on the outer circumferential side, the outer stator part and an outer air gap; and a pair of end support parts installed at respective ends of the rotor-side magnetic force application part. At least one among the pair of end support parts is coupled and fixed to a rotary shaft which is rotatably installed in the housing part.
MOTOR CORE AND MOTOR
Provided is a miniaturized motor core with multiple poles for use in motors that require both output density and high efficiency. The motor core is formed by stacking a plurality of electrical steel sheets with a tooth width of 0.5 mm or more and 2.0 mm or less and 12 or more of slots arranged between the teeth, where the electrical steel sheet has an iron loss of 220 W/kg or less when excited at 1.0 T-3000 Hz.

Motor and brush housing part
A motor includes a commutator, a brush, a first spring, a second spring, and a holder. The brush is configured to come into contact with the commutator to be electrically connected to the commutator. The first spring is configured to push the brush along the first direction toward the commutator. The second spring pushes the brush along a second direction intersecting the first direction. The holder is disposed such that the brush is located between the holder and the second spring in the second direction. The holder holds the brush between the holder and the second spring.
DIRECT DRIVE OUTER ROTOR BRUSHLESS DC MOTOR DRIVE WHEEL
The presently disclosed invention provides an outer rotor brushless direct current motor that includes a tire integrated as part of the outer rotor, and is thus configured as a direct drive wheel, such as may be used on a mobile robot. The drive wheel includes a cylindrical outer rotor having a plurality of poles positioned on an inner surface, a stationary stator spaced inwardly from the rotor and defining a magnetic clearance gap between the plurality of poles of the rotor and a plurality of electromagnets positioned on an outer circumference of the stator, and a stationary central shaft. The stator is mounted to the central shaft and the rotor is configured for rotation about the stator.
Transverse flux machines
A transverse flux machine includes a stator assembly consisting of a plurality of shaped cores, each having a base with a plurality of legs with a corresponding gap between each leg and each leg having a winding. A rotor assembly is positioned adjacent the stator assembly and includes a rotor disc, and a rotor ring with a plurality of rotor poles interleaved with a plurality of interpoles. The plurality of rotor poles and plurality of interpoles are radially disposed around the rotor disc. The plurality of rotor poles include a plurality of focused rotor poles interleaved with a plurality of diffused rotor poles.
Lubricant supported electric motor
A lubricant supported electric motor includes an outer stator and an inner stator each extending around an axis in radially spaced relationship with one another. A rotor is rotatably disposed between the inner and outer stators to define an inner gap extending radially between the rotor and the inner stator and an outer gap extending radially between the rotor and the outer stator. A lubricant is disposed in both of the inner and outer gaps for supporting the rotor radially between the inner and outer stators. The lubricant supported motor with a two-sided radial flux configuration results in improved rotor-to-stator system stiffness to allow the lubricant supported electric motor to be used in high shock and high vibration environments, while also providing high torque in a small and lightweight design package.
