The permanent magnet speed governor includes an outer magnetic rotor and an inner magnetic rotor, at least two outer permanent magnets being evenly distributed along the circumferential direction of the inner circumferential surface of the outer magnetic rotor, the magnetic poles of the outer permanent magnets being arranged along the radial direction, the magnetisms of exposed magnetic pole surfaces of two adjacent outer permanent magnets being different. At least one rotatable permanent magnet is distributed along the circumferential direction of the outer circumferential surface of the inner magnetic rotor, the rotatable permanent magnet being cylindrical and the N pole and the S pole being along the diametrical direction, one end of the rotatable permanent magnet being provided with a magnetic circuit regulator. It increases the engagement area of the speed governor.

Disclosed are systems and methods for protecting an escrow clutch of a self-service terminal. The systems and methods may include actuating a motor of the self-service terminal to cause an escrow clutch of the self-service terminal to spin at a rate. As the clutch spins, a determination as to when a clutch slippage exceeds a preset slippage rate may be made. When the clutch slippage exceeds the preset slippage rate, the motor may be actuated to cause the escrow clutch to spin at a second rate. The second rate may less than the first rate.

Technique for detecting twisted motion of electric working machine

An electric working machine in one aspect of the present disclosure includes an output shaft, a motor, a housing, an acceleration detector, a twisted motion detector, a reference level changer, and a motor controller. The acceleration detector detects an acceleration of the housing in a circumferential direction of the output shaft. The twisted motion detector detects a twisted motion of the housing based on a reference level and the acceleration detected. The reference level determines that the housing is twisted. The reference level changer changes the reference level based on a rotating motion of the output shaft.

Escrow clutch protection

Disclosed are systems and methods for protecting an escrow clutch of a self-service terminal. The systems and methods may include actuating a motor of the self-service terminal to cause an escrow clutch of the self-service terminal to spin at a rate. As the clutch spins, a determination as to when a clutch slippage exceeds a preset slippage rate may be made. The inhibiting mechanism inhibits transmission of inertial force from the motor to the holder in response to activation of the electronic clutch.
