CONTROLLING SLEW RATE
This application relates to methods and apparatus for controlling slew-rate of components for outputting an analogue output signal. Described is a signal processing circuit having a forward signal path for receiving an input signal and outputting an analogue output signal. The signal processing circuit has a first component located in said forward signal path for outputting the analogue output signal. A predictor is configured to predict a required slew-rate for the first component based on the input signal and a controller is configured to controllably vary an output slew-rate limit of the first component based on the prediction of required slew-rate.
Method for reconstructing sparse signal in finite field, apparatus for reconstructing sparse signal in finite field, and recording medium for recording reconstruction method
A method for recovering a sparse signal of a finite field may include: updating discrete probability information of a target signal element of the finite field and discrete probability information of a measurement signal element of the finite field by exchanging the discrete probability information of the target signal element with the discrete probability information of the measurement signal element a predetermined number of times, wherein the target signal element and the measurement signal element are related to each other; calculating a final posteriori probability based on a priori probability of the target signal element and the discrete probability information of the measurement signal element, acquired as the exchange result; and recovering the target signal by performing maximum posteriori estimation to maximize the final posteriori probability.
Discrete time charge sharing IIR bandpass filter incorporating clock phase reuse
A novel and useful discrete time IIR bandpass filter is disclosed that takes advantage of clock phase reuse thereby leading to significant improvements in filtering, especially stop band rejection in comparison to prior art filters. The bandpass filter of the present invention achieves improved filtering performance without adding any additional clock phases to the circuit. In particular, reuse of the already existing clock phases increases the order and performance of the filter. The invention exploits reuse of the clock phases to provide higher order filtering along with a discrete time IIR filter design which is capable of operating at high frequency. Consequently, much better filtering is achieved and the quality factor of the filter is improved leading to sharper transition bands especially for close-in band blockers in modern 4G/5G receivers.
Optimized multi-pam finite impulse response (FIR) filter
A receiver circuit is disclosed. The receiver circuit includes a multi-PAM input circuit to receive a multi-PAM input symbol. The input symbol exhibits one of multiple threshold levels during a sampling period. The threshold levels correspond to a set of M-bit two's-complement values within a defined set of threshold values. An adaptive filtering circuit includes a first transcoder to transcode the set of M-bit two's-complement values to a set of N-bit values, where N<M. An adaptive filter operates to filter the set of N-bit values to generate a filtered set of data values. A second transcoder transforms the filtered set of data values to a second set of data values that corresponds to a set of filtered M-bit two's-complement values.

The present disclosure provides a device and method for wireless communication and a communication terminal. The device comprises: a spatial filtering unit, configured to perform spatial filtering on a signal received by each antenna in a receiving antenna array, and combine filtered signals, wherein all coefficients adopted by spatial filtering are configured to reduce an equivalent channel time-variant degree of a combined signal.
Automatic filtering method and device
An automatic filtering method includes: a step of analyzing an input signal so as to obtain a frequency spectrum of the input signal; and a step of selecting, on the basis of the frequency spectrum, at least one filter from among a plurality of preset filters and filtering the input signal. The step of selecting includes determining, on the basis of the frequency spectrum of, a signal type in the input signal; selecting, on a basis of the signal type, a corresponding filter corresponding to the signal type; filtering the input signal with use of a first parameter of the corresponding filter and setting a second parameter for the corresponding filter on a basis of a result of the filtering; and filtering the input signal with use of the second parameter set for the corresponding filter. The method may ensure a filtering effect against noise.
