INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, TRANSMISSION-SIDE APPARATUS AND METHOD
When signals are simultaneously received from K transmission-side apparatuses by a receiving antenna, and repetition is performed by the K transmission-side apparatuses, an information processing apparatus is configured to: in order to obtain a transmitted reference signal x(k,n) transmitted from a transmission-side apparatus k (k=1, . . . , K) by the n-th reference signal transmission in the repetition, acquire a phase rotation amount φ(g,n) given to a transmitted reference signal x(k) and assigned to a group g to which the transmission-side apparatus k belongs and transmit the phase rotation amount φ(g,n) to the transmission-side apparatus k. The phase rotation amount φ(g,n) is acquired so that received reference signals from transmission-side apparatuses not belonging to the group g are cancelled when a phase rotation amount opposite to the phase rotation amount φ(g,n) is given to a received reference signal r(n), and the first to N-th received reference signals in the repetition are added.
PRE-CODING METHOD AND TRANSMITTER
Disclosed is a transmission scheme for transmitting a first modulated signal and a second modulated signal over the same frequency at the same time. According to the transmission scheme, a precoding weight multiplying unit multiplies a baseband signal after a first mapping and a baseband signal after a second mapping by a precoding weight and outputs the first modulated signal and the second modulated signal. In the precoding weight multiplying unit, precoding weights are regularly hopped.

Transmission device and transmission method
A transmission device that improves data reception quality includes: a weighting synthesizer that generates a first precoded signal and a second precoded signal from a first baseband signal and a second baseband signal, respectively; a phase changer that applies a phase change of i×Δλ to the second precoded signal; an inserter that inserts a pilot signal into the second precoded signal applied with the phase change; and a phase changer that applies a phase change to the second precoded signal applied with the phase change and inserted with the pilot signal. Δλ satisfies π/2 radians<Δλ<π radians or π radians<Δλ<3π/2 radians. Each of the first baseband signal and the second baseband signal is modulated via a modulation scheme of quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) using non-uniform mapping.
Fault Detection and Mitigation Based on Fault Types in 5G/6G
In 5G and 6G, a message received with even a single-bit fault generally discarded and a retransmission is requested. However, the faulted message contains a wealth of information that the receiver can use to avoid, or at least mitigate, such faults thereafter. Disclosed is a method for comparing a faulted message with an unfaulted copy, thereby determining which part of the message is faulted, and specifically how it was faulted. For example, the fault may have been an amplitude fault in which a demodulated amplitude differs by one level from the initially modulated amplitude, or it may be a phase fault in which the received phase differs by one phase level, or there may be a displacement by multiple amplitude or phase levels (a non-adjacent fault). Different mitigation strategies are disclosed for each situation, including AI models configured to select a suitable modulation scheme to combat specific faults.
Efficient transfer of IQ sample data
In mobile communications networks, requirements on signal distortion may be fulfilled at a lower bit rate, or alternatively quantization noise be reduced for a given bit rate, by including fractional exponent bits in a block floating point format. One or more fractional exponent bits may apply to all samples in the block. Alternatively, fractional bits may apply to sub-blocks within the block. The optimal number of fractional bits depends on the number of samples in the block.
