System, method, and computer program for generating insights from home network router data
As described herein, a system, method, and computer program are provided for generating insights from home network router data. In use, network usage/connection data is collected from a home network router operating in a residential space. Additionally, the network usage/connection data is processed to generate insights for the network usage/connection data. Further, the insights are output for display to one or more users.
VoIP Analog Telephone System
A multi-port VOID telecommunications system that allows the user to gain access to telephone connectivity through the Internet by connecting directly to the Internet or by connecting to the Internet through the existing Internet connection of a computer or cell phone device. The present system includes an Ethernet port, a Wi-Fi receiver to facilitate the transmission and receipt of Internet protocol signals wirelessly, a USB plug connectable to the ATA, connectivity to a home monitoring network and connectivity to Bluetooth devices.
Obtaining services through a local network
One or more endpoints may be registered with a gateway at a premises. The gateway may include local physical interfaces for communicating with a first subset of the endpoints. The gateway may further include Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) proxy servers for communicating with a second subset of the endpoints. Incoming communications to the premises may be routed by the gateway to one or more of the endpoints via the local physical interfaces or the SIP proxy servers. One or more endpoints may initiate outgoing communications via the local physical interfaces or the SIP proxy servers.

Systems, methods, devices and arrangements for cost-effective routing
A variety of methods, systems, devices and arrangements are implemented for assessing and/or controlling call routing for Internet-based (e.g., VoIP/VioIP) calls. According to one such method, endpoint devices are used to monitor and/or assess the call-quality. The assessment is sent to a centralized server arrangement and call-routing is controlled therefrom. Endpoint devices employ a decentralized testing mechanism to further monitor and assess call quality. Aspects of call quality are analyzed and attributed to endpoint devices and/or local connections or networks to distinguish intermediate routing issues from local/endpoint issues.
Prioritized call sessions
A local network call handling device is configured to establish multiple concurrent call sessions between local network end devices and an external network. When a prioritized end device attempts to establish a call session, the call handling device may initially determine if a first call session identifier is available. If so, the call session can be established using that first identifier. If the first identifier is in use for a call session of another end device, the call handling device may either use a different call session identifier for the prioritized end device session or may drop a pre-existing call session to free an identifier for use in connection with the prioritized end device.
Service Processing Method and Device, and Home Gateway
A service processing method and device, and a home gateway are provided. A dialing message sent by a terminal is received. It is judged whether the dialing message is a message for processing a predetermined service. When a judgment result is that the dialing message is the message for processing the predetermined service, the predetermined service is processed.
System and method for digital assistant interface utilizing plain-old-telephone
A system and method for utilizing a plain-old-telephone (“POT”) to interface with a digital assistant system. The POT is linked to an interface adapted to selectively provide a bidirectional audio connection to a standard telephone communication network, or to provide an interface to a digital assistant system in response to user voice commands. The functionality of the POT digital assistant interface being dependent upon the user input—DTMF tone/pulse dialing signals as opposed to voice commands spoken into the POT mouthpiece. Audio cues and prompts, as well as audio responses from the digital assistant system are provided to the user via the POT earpiece. Digital assistant functionality is provided via a simple and familiar interface, without impeding any standard voice telephony functionality (making/receiving calls, call waiting, caller ID, etc.)
User Proximity Sensing For Automatic Cross-Device Content Transfer
Methods, architectures, and algorithms to improve content transfer performance, smoothness and efficiency among multiple electronic computing devices are provided. In one example, an electronic computing device includes a plurality of sensors or devices, a communication interface, a memory device configured to store computer-executable instructions, and a processor, wherein the processor is configured to determine a proximity of a user relative to the electronic computing device in an environment detected by the plurality of the sensors or devices and determine a transfer of a content based on a proximity metric stored from the memory device.
Integration of home entertainment devices with a software client for telephony
A communication system including a communication network, an entertainment device connected to the communication network, and an application server connected to the communication network. The entertainment device has a software client adapted to provide real time two-way communication between the entertainment device and a telephony device connected to the communication network. The application server is adapted to communicate with the software client and facilitate the real time two-way communication between the entertainment device and the telephony device.
