A computer-implemented method for recommending at least one substrate to be used in conjunction with a digital image to form a print product includes: providing a digital image; providing a list of available substrates stored in a memory; utilizing a processor, allowing for the selection of at least one of a size of substrate to be used to form a print product or a display location for the print product; automatically identifying at least one substrate from the list of available substrates utilizing the processor based on at least one of the selected substrate size or the selected display location; displaying the identified at least one substrate on a display; and allowing for the selection of the identified at least one substrate for fulfillment to produce the print product including the digital image disposed on the selected at least one substrate.

An information processing apparatus includes a first developing unit configured to develop an image, a second developing unit by which a developed image better than a developed image developed by the first developing unit is obtained, an estimation unit configured to estimate an improvement effect of a quality of the developed image obtained using the second developing unit instead of the first developing unit, and a notification unit configured to notify content based on the improvement effect estimated by the estimation unit.

Methods, systems, and devices for adjusting a scanning status are provided. In one example method, a mobile terminal can determine whether a target object is a preset target type. If so, a reference scan parameter is determined corresponding to the preset target type, and a real-time scan parameter is obtained that is used when the mobile terminal performs scanning around the target object. A determination is made as to whether the real-time scan parameter conforms to the reference scan parameter. If it does not, a prompt message used to prompt a user to adjust a scanning status corresponding to a current scan parameter is generated.

Systems and methods provide for configuring and transferring multiple data files including image data files using a mobile device. A mobile device may acquire multiple data files including image files from disparate sources and transmit them to an enhanced image processing server. The enhanced image processing server may analyze the received image files using various techniques. To aid in analysis, the server may also interface with various internal and external databases storing reference images or other reference data of previously analyzed similar data. Further still, the enhanced image processing server may transmit a result of the analysis back to a mobile device.

A server computing device can (1) managing a plurality of album artwork templates, wherein each album artwork template of the plurality of album artwork templates includes a plurality of entries, and each entry of the plurality of entries defines a respective manner by which a respective album artwork image is to be generated, (2) receiving, from a client device, a request for an album artwork image, wherein the request includes: a first identifier that corresponds to a particular image of an artist, a second identifier that corresponds to a particular album artwork template of the plurality of album artwork templates, and locale information that corresponds to a particular entry of the particular album artwork template, and (3) generating the album artwork image according to the respective manner defined by the particular entry, wherein the album artwork image is based at least in part on the particular image of the artist.

An electronic album editing device acquires image information and metadata from a storage unit and generates image data. An image identification device includes an image acquisition unit and an image identification unit. The image acquisition unit acquires image information and metadata corresponding to the image information. The image identification unit identifies a type of the acquired image information. The image identification unit identifies a target image as image information for which an actual size ratio can be specified if the metadata includes first information for ascertaining a size when a pixel size of the image information is projected to an object side. An actual size ratio calculation unit calculates an image size corresponding to the actual size ratio using the metadata when the image identification unit has identified an image for which the actual size ratio can be specified.

A system and method for generating recommendations during image capture are provided. The method comprises obtaining a camera live stream from a camera in a user device, the camera live stream including image data of a particular product; determining one or more baseline image features common to images of one or more products of a collection based at least on image analysis of image data of the images of the one or more products of the collection; comparing the one or more baseline image features to one or more image features of the image data of the particular product to generate one or more recommendations; and generating, for display together with the camera live stream on the user device, the one or more recommendations.

Techniques and systems are described for generating location based photo discovery suggestions. Generally, photo discovery data is generated and utilized to form discovery suggestions that identify suggested locations for capturing photographs, as well as other capture-related information that is presented to assist a user in capturing photographs of interest to the user. A discovery suggestion, for example, not only identifies a location of potential photographic interest to a user, but also includes information such as camera settings and suggested camera equipment for capturing photos at the location. A discovery suggestion thus guides a user as to how to maximize a likelihood that a digital image captured by the user includes subject matter of interest to the user and is also visually pleasing.

The present invention provides a device for reconstructing a 3D model. The device includes: a camera; and a processor configured to: determine a class of a subject; capture one or more images of the subject by using the camera; extract semantic information from the images based on the determined class; update the 3D model by using the images; estimate incomplete semantic parts of the 3D model; and present semantic guidance for the user to capture the incomplete semantic parts. The present invention achieves clearly understandable guidance for reconstructing a complete 3D model.
