The method and system allow a user to launch a client application on an web-enabled device and subsequently to navigate to an image source screen within the client application. After receiving an image source selection from the user, the client application retrieves images from the selected image source. The client application displays the retrieved images available for printing to a user, and in response to receiving a selection of an image, the client application transmits the image to a proprietary server. Moreover, upon receiving print order information, the client application additionally executes a location awareness application that determines a current location of the web-enabled device and subsequently, determines a proximal retail store to the current location of the web-enabled device. Thereafter, the remote printing system creates and transmits a print order that includes the selected image to the retail store for pickup.

A digital camera with a printer is a digital camera with a printer and includes a communication unit that communicates with a digital camera with a printer that is another apparatus, and an image composition unit that generates a composite image in which a first image captured by the digital camera with a printer that is an owned apparatus and a second image captured by the other apparatus are composited, in which the communication unit transmits the composite image to the other apparatus. A user of the other apparatus can also obtain the composite image. Accordingly, the composite image can be enjoyed by capturing images using a plurality of cameras.

The user photo kiosk terminals can receive images. Billing and payment is accomplished using barcoded receipts provided at the user terminal for payments for purchased photo products. A printer array incorporating various printers capable of producing prints or various sizes and formats can be configured as a horizontal counter or as a vertical tower and includes means to alert the user that their photo print order is complete. In addition, the system automatically notifies operators if equipment service, maintenance, media refilling, and/or post printing finishing procedures are required.

Methods and processes for manufacture of an image product from a digital image. An object in the digital image is detected and recognized. Object metadata is assigned to the object, the object metadata linking sound to the object in the digital image which produced the sound. At least one cryptographic hash of the object metadata is generated, and the hash is written to a node of a transaction processing network.

A computer-implemented method programmed for execution in a computing environment for ordering and facilitating payment of a print product. The method comprises storing a digital image in a memory of the computing system; allowing for the selection of a print product using a user interface to establish a print order, wherein the print product includes the digital image, and wherein the print order includes an identification of the selected print product and an order cost; generating a unique payment link by the processor that corresponds to the print order and provides a user computing device with access to communicate payment information to a remote payment processing system; providing access to the unique payment link to the user computing device; receiving a payment notification at the processor from the remote payment processing system; and allowing for the fulfillment of at least a portion of the print order using a printing device.

The set of instructions includes instructions to acquire color data from an application, set a generation method for generating gray image data from color data by selecting a method from a group including at least a first generation method and a second generation method different from the first generation method, generate PDL data of gray image data based on the acquired color data and the set generation method, and transmit the generated PDL data to a printing apparatus.

Systems for providing on-demand food service material printing for food service are provided herein. A food service material dispenser comprises a roll holder configured to hold a roll of food service material, one or more rollers, and a motor configured to operate to translate the food service material along a path within the dispenser. The dispenser includes a cutting arrangement configured to perform a cut of the food service material to form the sheet of food service material that defines a size associated with a food service order. The dispenser also includes a printer configured to print at least one of order information or personalization information on the food service material that is based on the associated food service order. The dispenser further includes a chute configured to dispense the sheet of food service material, which includes the at least one of order information or personalization information printed thereon.
