A system and method for designing and printing fantasy draft board posters using a client computer communicating with a host computer. The host computer provides a design interface to a user, and the user selects a template design. The template design requires a user to input a variety of client-defined material with a header, and select the number of teams and rounds. The client-defined material is displayed actively on a scratch pad image, and determines the dimensions of the final format of the draft board poster. The final print image file for the poster is then created and printed.

In one aspect, the present disclosure relates to decorating and printing of edible media sheets based on a user-uploaded image. Using a browser-based user interface, the user selected image can be edited and embellished as an edible media design. The edible media design is converted to print data to enable printing of the edible media design using a printer installed with edible ink.

An information processing apparatus, which determines a leaning of an object image in a case of inserting the object image into a predetermined area included in a captured image, includes: a detection unit configured to detect the predetermined area from the captured image; a generation unit configured to generate a rectangle that includes the predetermined area detected by the detection unit; and a determination unit configured to determine a leaning of the rectangle relative to a horizontal line or perpendicular line of the captured image as the leaning to be used for inserting the object.

An advertising system and its method of use are disclosed. The advertising system includes at least one sensor coupled to a fixed location, where the at least one sensor is configured to generate an impression based on at least one characteristic of a proximate automobile, at least one processor configured to receive the impression, at least one server, having an advertising database and a user database, and at least one delivery mechanism. Preferably, the advertising database contains information relating to at least one advertisement and the user database is configured to check if the at least one characteristic matches an existing entry for a user, and either associate that impression with a user or create a new entry for the impression.

A method for ordering a print product comprises displaying a video that includes an exhibited physical product; comparing a feature or attribute associated with the exhibited product with a feature or attribute associated with the available product; displaying a digital overlay in the video and in association with the displayed exhibited product if the displayed exhibited product corresponds to the digital representation of the available product; allowing for the selection of the digital overlay and then a digital image; establishing a print order including an identification of the displayed exhibited product associated with the selected digital overlay and the selected digital image; and allowing for the fulfillment of the print order to produce a print product using a printing device, wherein the print product includes the selected digital image disposed on a selected physical product representative of the displayed exhibited product associated with the selected digital overlay.

A kiosk system and method of producing a personalized souvenir using the personalized souvenir producing interactive kiosk system. The system includes a vending machine-like kiosk configured to communicate with a user's electronic device, such as a smartphone, to accept an upload of a user-selected digital image. The kiosk then creates a personalized souvenir in a refrigerator magnet using the digital image and printing the digital image on a section of magnetic sheeting.

A system for providing customized merchandise to a user at an entertainment venue via a user computer device has a machine readable tag encoding an address, and a fulfillment computer having a printer. The machine readable tag is located at the entertainment venue. A computer memory of the fulfillment computer stores executable code that enables the fulfillment computer to perform a process having the following steps: receiving a request from the user computer device generated by capturing the machine readable tag with a camera of the user computer device; uploading at least one photograph from the user computer device; collecting payment for the customized merchandise; printing the selected photograph on the selected style of the customized merchandise; and delivering the customized merchandise to the user.

A request processing apparatus includes a selecting section and an outputting section. The selecting section selects, from multiple pieces of photo data obtained through shooting during an event, one or more pieces of photo data consistent with a request accepted before or during the event. The outputting section outputs the one or more pieces of photo data selected by the selecting section.

A method for controlling an image processing apparatus including specifying one or a plurality of pieces of image data; generating a new template based on a feature of the specified one or plurality of pieces of image data, the generated new template including at least one or a plurality of slots for which the specified one or plurality of pieces of image data are laid out; and generating a layout image by laying out the specified one or plurality of pieces of image data to the one or plurality of slots included in the generated new template.
