An image processing apparatus, including a display, a memory, and a controller, to provide a plurality of functions is provided. The controller controls the display to display one of a first screen, through which one of the plurality of functions is selectable; a second screen, through which one of a plurality of options for the selected function is selectable; and a third screen, through which selection of the one of the plurality of options is indicated. When the controller reads shortcut information that indicates a first option for a selected one of the functions, and when the first option is permitted to the user, the third screen is displayed. When the first option is not permitted to the user, and if there is a second option permitted to the user, the second screen is displayed.

An electronic picture frame and an image display method thereof are provided. In the electronic picture frame, a plurality of images are arranged and displayed on one side of a screen, and among the plurality of images, an image at a particular position is enlarged and displayed. Alternatively, a screen is divided into a plurality of sub-screens, so images stored in each of a plurality of storage areas can be displayed on a respective sub-screen. Accordingly, the images stored in the plurality of storage areas can be displayed on the electronic picture frame in diverse forms.

An electronic picture frame and an image display method thereof are provided. In the electronic picture frame, a plurality of images are arranged and displayed on one side of a screen, and among the plurality of images, an image at a particular position is enlarged and displayed. Alternatively, a screen is divided into a plurality of sub-screens, so images stored in each of a plurality of storage areas can be displayed on a respective sub-screen. An information processor that keeps confidential information existing in an own device, and includes: a storage that saves data and encrypts the data with an encryption key; first non-secure memory for saving the encryption key; second secure memory that can be mounted additionally to save the encryption key; a display that shows various setting menus; an inputter with which a user makes various types of input; and a controller that controls saving of the encryption key and displaying on the display. When an instruction to save the encryption key in the second memory is input to the inputter in a state where the storage is encrypted and the second memory is mounted, the controller saves the encryption key in the second memory.

A display apparatus includes a processor. The processor is configured to: generate a first image including (i) a setting area for receiving a setting of a setting item and (ii) a command area for receiving a command regarding the setting; generate a second image representing the command area; receive an operation on the setting item performed by a user; and display the second image over the first image in a case where the command area is not displayed when the processor receives the operation.

An information processing device includes a processing part, a controlling part, and a providing part. The processing part executes a process. The controlling part controls the processing part to execute the process when the process corresponding to an operation on an operating image is requested from a display device that temporarily stores and displays an externally provided operating image. The providing part provides a first operating image to be displayed by the display device to the display device, and provides, to the display device in advance, a second operating image displayed when the first operating image is operated, within a range not exceeding a quantity predetermined as an upper limit.

The instruction data is information used for execution of the custom operation defined.

An information processing apparatus configured to authenticate a user in first authentication processing and second authentication processing and permit the user who is authenticated to use at least one of a plurality of functions includes a control unit configured to, at a time of authentication of the user in the first authentication processing, perform control to prompt the user to select an authentication method to be used in the first authentication processing.

An image processing apparatus, including a display, a memory, and a controller, to provide a plurality of functions is provided. The controller controls the display to display one of a first screen, through which one of the plurality of functions is selectable; a second screen, through which one of a plurality of options for the selected function is selectable; and a third screen, through which selection of the one of the plurality of options is indicated. When the controller reads shortcut information that indicates a first option for a selected one of the functions, and when the first option is permitted to the user, the third screen is displayed. When the first option is not permitted to the user, and if there is a second option permitted to the user, the second screen is displayed.

An information processing apparatus includes a first execution unit, a second execution unit, and a display. The first execution unit performs a specific function. The second execution unit performs a common function which is commonly used from specific functions. The display displays, on an operation screen for a specific function, an operation receiving section for making a direct transition to an operation screen for performing a common function related to the specific function, not via another operation screen, and displays, on the operation screen for the common function to which a transition has been made through an operation on the operation receiving section, an operation receiving section for returning back to the operation screen for the specific function.
