DOCUMENT DETERMINATION SYSTEM AND PRINTING DEVICE
A document determination system includes a server device that stores identification information in association with document information, a printer that prints a document image corresponding to the document information and a code image indicating the identification information on a print medium to generate a normal printed matter, and a scanner that reads a print image printed on a printed matter including the normal printed matter and a copied printed matter obtained by copying the normal printed matter. The printer prints the code image in a preset end region of the print medium. The server device determines whether the printed matter is the normal printed matter based on the code image included in the print image read by the scanner.
Methods and systems for securing confidential content of a document while printing and/or generating a copy of the document
The disclosure discloses methods and systems for securing confidential content of a document. The method includes receiving a print request to print the document. A user interface is provided to the user having a secure option, the secure option further includes a partial secure option to secure partial content of the document. Based on the selection of the partial secure option, a selection of a confidential area including the confidential content in the document is received. Based on the selection, one or more coordinates of the confidential area are calculated. Then, an infrared (IR) mark is embedded in the document. While embedding the IR mark, the one or more coordinates of the confidential area including the confidential content in the document is embedded. Finally, a printed document is output with the IR mark including the coordinates of the confidential area for later identification of the confidential content and/or use such as masking.
Image forming apparatus and image forming method
An image forming apparatus that forms an output image including an authentication image for authenticity determination on a medium. The image forming apparatus includes: a recording head configured to discharge a droplet onto the medium; a drive unit configured to perform main scanning in which the recording head moves in a main scanning direction and sub scanning in which the medium is fed in a feeding direction; and a control unit configured to control, based on image formation data representing the output image, the main scanning and the sub scanning performed by the drive unit, and the discharge of the droplet performed by the recording head. The control unit performs a control to form the authentication image by a plurality of times of the main scanning in which feeding positions of the medium in the feeding direction are different, and performs a control so that at least one feeding amount of the medium in one sub scanning is different between a feeding amount at time of forming the authentication image and a feeding amount at time of forming a portion of the output image that does not include the authentication image.
Digitally printed anti-copy document and processes and products therefor
The present invention relates to a method and product resulting from application distortion security images in an anti-copy document, printed on demand, which may be variable and use laser printers or printer/copiers and/or ink-jet printers and/or digital presses.
IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM
An image processing device includes an association unit, a generation unit, an output unit, a reception unit, and a print unit. The association unit associates a first document image with a second image, the second image being an image of a reverse side of the first document image. The generation unit generates multiple images in accordance with a result of the association. The output unit outputs the multiple images generated by the generation unit. The reception unit receives a selection of an image output by the output unit, the selection being made by a user operation. The print unit prints the selected image.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR SECURELY DISPLAYING DIGITAL IMAGES
The invention provides methods and apparatus for securing personalized or sensitive information appearing in digital images. Digital images containing information to be secured is processed and divided into a plurality of image cells. At least one image cell from the plurality of image cells is selected and redacted or altered to render the information to be secured with the selected image cells in decipherable. The invention also provide method and apparatus for transmitting or streaming unredacted image cells alone or in combination with redacted image cell for secured viewing on a user browser or computer.
SYSTEM AND A METHOD FOR PROCESSING AN IMAGE
A system and a method for processing an image. The method includes the steps of: receiving a source image having at least one sensitive portions arranged to present intelligible sensitive information; and processing, with a predetermined redacting method, the at least one sensitive portions of the source image to generate an output image including the intelligible sensitive information being transformed into an unintelligible form; wherein the sensitive information in the unintelligible form is adapted to be restored to an intelligible form.
PROGRAMMABLE REDACTION FOR SECURE UI, REPORTS, SCANS, AND PRINTS
An exemplary apparatus includes a processor, a printing device, a user interface, and an input/output device. The printing device is in communication with the processor. The user interface is in communication with the processor. The input/output device is in communication with the processor and with a computerized network external to the apparatus. The processor is adapted to maintain a general lexicon of mask words. The processor is adapted to provide, through the user interface and the computerized network, options to change the mask words in the general lexicon to create a local lexicon. The processor is adapted to redact the mask words in the local lexicon from at least one of: printed items; items displayed on the user interface; and items provided to the computerized network through the input/output device.
Information processing apparatus and non-transitory computer readable medium storing information processing program
An information processing apparatus includes a reception unit that receives a transmission request for image data from an image processing apparatus to which a user provides an instruction to execute image processing, an acquisition unit that acquires a security policy corresponding to attribute information related to an attribute of the image processing apparatus in a case where the reception unit receives the transmission request, and a control unit that performs control for transmitting the image data to the image processing apparatus and executing the image processing in the image processing apparatus in accordance with the security policy acquired by the acquisition unit.
