The recording control unit continues to record the captured image in a first image file, and executes close processing on the first image file at a timing based on a recordable duration time during which the captured image is continuously recorded in the first image file as an image file having the highest degree of importance when an electric power supply from a main power unit is cut off and the electric power supply source is switched by an electric power supply source switching unit.

An image processing apparatus includes a connection unit, a first power supply unit, a second power supply unit, and a control device. The connection unit is connected to an electronic apparatus including a controlled device and a communication relay unit. The first power supply unit can supply power to the controlled device. The second power supply unit can supply power to the communication relay unit. A power supply device includes a transformer including a primary winding, a secondary winding and an auxiliary winding, first, second and third circuits, and a switch. The first circuit in which a first capacitor and a first rectifier are connected in series is connected to the primary winding in parallel. The switch of which one end is connected to one end of the primary winding. The second circuit in which the auxiliary winding and a second rectifier are connected in serial is connected between a connecting point, to which the first capacitor and the first rectifier are connected, and the other end of the switch. The third circuit including a resistor and a third rectifier is connected to a gate of the switch. In the third circuit, a resistance value in a direction where a current flows into the gate of the switch is smaller than that in a direction where the current flows out of the gate.

An image forming control method is applied to an image forming device. The image forming device includes a communication port. The communication port includes a USB port, a wired network port, and a wireless network port. The method includes performing a forced disconnection event for the communication port in response to a satisfaction of a preset condition. The forced disconnection event includes disconnecting power supply of at least one part of components of a wireless network module, disconnecting power supply of at least one part of components of a wired network module, and force-disconnecting the USB port.

An image forming apparatus includes a housing, a door, an inlet, a primary power source, a secondary power source, a primary interlock switch, and a secondary interlock switch. The housing has an opening. The door is hinge-coupled to the housing by a hinge, and opens and closes the opening. The inlet is provided near the hinge. An example image forming apparatus includes a fan, a fan driver to drive the fan, a switching controller, and a processor to output a pulse width modulated (PWM) control signal to control the fan driver. The switching controller may include a smoothing circuit to receive the PWM control signal output from the processor and convert the PWM control signal to a direct current signal, a comparator to compare a value of the direct current signal with a reference value and output a switch control signal, and a switch to provide power to the fan driver based on the switch control signal output from the comparator.

According to an aspect of the present disclosure, an image forming apparatus checks a connection status of devices to an USB host interface, and then turns off once a GPIO controlling a Vbus of interfaces to which USB devices are not connected, and then turns on the GPIO (that is, writing an enable signal “1” after writing a disable signal “0”), and then remove a cutoff state of electrical connection with the USB devices by a overcurrent preventing mechanism.

An apparatus, such as an image forming apparatus, includes a Universal Serial Bus (USB) host interface configured to connect to a USB device, a direct current to direct current (DC-DC) converter configured to supply power to the USB device connected to the USB host interface, and a control unit configured to switch the DC-DC converter from a pulse width modulation (PWM) mode to a pulse frequency modulation (PFM) mode based on a type of the USB device connected to the USB host interface.
