According to aspects of the present disclosures, an image scanning apparatus receives an inquiry for assignment information and, when the assignment information designates none of multiple destination candidates, transmits the assignment information indicating the same to a mobile terminal. When receiving, from the mobile terminal, an assignment request requesting to assign a server as a destination, the image scanning apparatus checks whether the assignment information designates none of the multiple destination candidates. When it is confirmed that the assignment information designates none of the multiple destination candidates, a state of the assignment information is changed to a state of designating a server as the destination of image data.

An image forming device according to the present disclosure includes a facsimile communication unit and a network communication unit. The facsimile communication unit transmits image information in increments of pages to a facsimile device that is a transmission destination, via a public telephone line. The network communication unit transmits image information as a file to an information processing device, via a network. A transmission processing unit performs broadcast transmission processing of transmitting same image information to multiple transmission destinations at one time, by at least one of the facsimile transmission unit and the network transmission unit. Further, a transmission report notification unit makes notification of transmission report information, including transmission destination information representing the transmission destinations of the broadcast transmission processing, to all of the transmission destinations.

An address search system includes: a hardware processor that receives, as text information including a logogram, address information as a voice recognition result transmitted from a server or a device that recognizes a voice, converts the received text information of the logogram into text information of a character of reading, also converts the converted text information of the character of reading into a plurality of pieces of text information including the logogram again, and searches for a registered address using the plurality of pieces of text information including the logogram; and a presenter that presents the address searched by the hardware processor.

An image reading apparatus includes a storage unit, a reading unit, a character recognition unit, an acquisition unit, and a registration unit. The storage unit stores an address book capable of registering, in the address book, information as group destination information. The reading unit reads at least one document to generate image data. The character recognition unit recognizes character information in the image data. The acquisition unit acquires a plurality of pieces of destination information from the character information recognized by the character recognition unit. The registration unit registers, in the address book and as the group destination information, the plurality of pieces of destination information acquired by the acquisition unit.

A portable terminal has a memory having a program stored thereon and readably by a computer. The program causes the portable terminal to perform searching an image processing apparatus capable of executing an image processing operation by a first method, determining whether the image processing apparatus is detected in the searching by the first method, searching the image processing apparatus by a second method in a case where it is determined that the image processing apparatus is not detected as a result of the searching by the first method, storing apparatus information for identifying the image processing apparatus detected in the searching by the first method or the searching by the second method, and transmitting operation instruction information for instructing execution of the image processing operation to the image processing apparatus identified with the designated apparatus information stored.

The registration unit registers, in the address book and as the group destination information, the plurality of pieces of destination information acquired by the acquisition unit.
