A print processing system includes a plurality of image forming apparatuses, a terminal device, and a mobile device. A first controller of the terminal device is capable of writing information necessary for transmitting the print data, in the memory of the mobile device. A second controller of the image forming apparatus executes, upon reading out the necessary information written by the first controller from the memory of the mobile device, via the second wireless communication device, a first process necessary for transmitting the print data. A second controller of the image forming apparatus is capable of writing the necessary information in the memory of the mobile device. A printing apparatus includes a receiving unit which receives print data, an operating unit which receives a print instruction from a user, a display unit which displays a password entry screen for receiving a password entry from a user, and a printing unit which receives a print instruction from a user through the operating unit and prints print data without accepting a password through a password entry screen if a password added to the print data is matched with a fixed password and print data to be printed if a print instruction from a user is received through the operating unit, if the password added to the print data is matched with the fixed password, and if the password received through a password entry screen is matched with the password added to the print data.

Information apparatus and application software supporting printing over air or network are herein disclosed and enabled. The information apparatus may include one or more software components that include (1) a discovery component to discover a supported printer in a local area network (LAN) and to receive device information related to the printer (e.g., capability, language or format supported, identification) from the printer, and (2) a printing component to generate or obtain print data based on the device information received and to transmit the print data to the discovered printer. After establishing the connection to the LAN, application software (e.g., Internet browser, email, photos, documents) in the information apparatus may print digital content by using the discovery component to discover the printer in the LAN, and may use the printing component to obtain and transmit print data in a form that is acceptable to the printer for printing the digital content.

In a case where the information processing apparatus receives a registration request for registering an image forming apparatus in the service, the information processing apparatus issues an access token based on an output authority of an instructing user who has given an instruction to transmit the registration request, and transmits the issued access token to the image forming apparatus.

A communication system comprising an information processing apparatus and a mobile terminal, wherein when the mobile terminal receives a packet transmitted from the information processing apparatus, it determines whether or not a login condition for transmitting a login request is satisfied based on a received signal strength of the packet, and it transmits the login request to the information processing apparatus in a case where it determines that the login condition is satisfied, and does not transmit the login request to the information processing apparatus in a case where it is determines that the login condition is not satisfied.

Provided is an image processing apparatus which includes a display, is able to read card information from a card, and provides at least any of a function using a scanner and a function using a printer, the image processing apparatus including: an execution unit configured to execute, if card information associated with a user account is detected, a login process to the image processing apparatus based on the user account; and a control unit configured to call, if the same card information is detected during a login state according to the login process, a shortcut corresponding to the card information in the login state, wherein, if the shortcut is called, a screen for a function associated with the shortcut is displayed on the display in a state in which a setting value group corresponding to the shortcut is applied.
