IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD, AND SYSTEM
An image processing apparatus includes a controller, a displayer, a communicator, and a near field communicator. The controller receives, from a terminal device, a display image associated with destination information stored by the terminal device, via the near field communicator, displays, on the displayer, a screen including the display image, receives, from the terminal device, the destination information, based on an operation input to the screen, and transmits an image for transmission via the communicator, based on the destination information received from the terminal device.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DISTRIBUTION OF FAX TRANSMISSIONS
Methods and system are described for fax transmission distribution. In one embodiment, the electronic message receives, over a circuit-switched network, an incoming call signal that identifies a fax telephone number as an outbound address, where the fax telephone number is uniquely and permanently associated to a user. The device receives an incoming fax transmission associated with the incoming call signal, where the incoming fax transmission includes a fax message in a fax suitable format, where the fax message is associated with the user. The device transmits, over a computer network, an electronic message that includes the fax message and the fax telephone number to a destination address based on the fax telephone number.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DISTRIBUTION OF FAX TRANSMISSIONS OF AN ORGANIZATION
Methods and systems are described for receiving and distributing incoming fax transmissions. In one embodiment, an electronic device receives, over a computer network, an electronic message that includes an electronic document and a fax telephone number of an organization of a plurality of organizations, wherein the fax telephone number is) permanently associated with the organization and 2) uniquely identifies the organization from other organizations in the plurality of other organizations. The device determines a destination address of the organization based on the fax telephone number and transmits the electronic document and the fax telephone number to the destination address.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SENDING, DELIVERY AND RECEIVING OF FAXES USING A REMOTELY DEPLOYED FAX SERVICE OR SYSTEM
Embodiments of systems and methods for the sending, delivery and receiving of faxes are disclosed herein. In particular, certain embodiments include a fax connector that may be deployed at a user's site, and a faxing system that may be deployed remotely from the user's site. The fax connector can be accessed at the user's site over a computer based network in order to perform functions associated with faxing, including sending, receiving and obtaining status on faxes. The fax connector deployed at the user's site communicates with the remotely deployed faxing system to send, receive, obtain status on, or perform other functions associated with, faxing.
Management apparatus, management system, and recording medium
A management apparatus includes circuitry that stores, in a memory, facsimile data received by an electronic device in association with information on a group to which the received facsimile data belongs, and transmits a list of the received facsimile data based on a browse request of the received facsimile data. In the list, the received facsimile data is classified according to at least the information on the group to which the electronic device belongs.
INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD
An information processing system includes at least one information processing apparatus. The system includes a memory and circuitry. The memory stores, for each of a plurality of flows, each flow containing a series of processes executable to electronic data, flow information that defines program identification information identifying one or more programs executing the flow of series of processes and an execution order of the one or more programs, in association with flow identification information. The memory further stores event identification information in association with the flow identification information. Based on an occurrence of an event, the circuitry reads the flow identification information associated with the event identification information identifying the occurred event, and controls the at least one information processing apparatus to execute each of the one or more programs in the execution order, as defined in the flow information identified by the read flow identification information.
Facsimile communication device, image forming apparatus, registration method, and non-transitory recording medium
A facsimile communication device includes circuitry to count, for each of one or more facsimile numbers, at least one of the number of facsimile transmission times and the number of output times that is stored in association with a corresponding one of the one or more facsimile numbers. The circuitry determines whether registration of a specified facsimile number for unwanted facsimile is reasonable to be performed, based on at least one of the number of facsimile transmission times associated with the specified facsimile number and the number of output times associated with the specified facsimile number. The specified facsimile number is included in the one or more facsimile numbers. The circuitry registers the specified facsimile number for the unwanted facsimile in response to determining that the registration of the specified facsimile number for the unwanted facsimile is reasonable to be performed.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes a document conveyance portion, an image reading portion that performs feed reading-in in which a document as conveyed is read or table reading-in in which a document on a table is read, a job execution portion that, based on image data, performs a job, an operation panel that accepts setting of a destination, and a control portion. In a continuous read-in mode, the control portion performs control so that reading-in of a document as placed is continuously performed until an input to end reading-in is made. When an automatic continuous read-in condition is satisfied, the control portion performs control so that the image reading portion and the job execution portion automatically operate in the continuous read-in mode. The automatic continuous read-in condition is that table reading-in has been started in a state where a destination corresponding to a particular transmission method is set.
AUDIT LOGGING FOR A SECURE, SCALABLE AND FLEXIBLE INTERNET FAX ARCHITECTURE
Methods and systems for an auditing infrastructure for an Internet fax service architecture are provided. According to one embodiment, information regarding an event, associated with a component of the Internet fax service architecture, that is to be logged, is received by a centralized audit logging module of the Internet fax service architecture. The component may be a web server, an email server, a fax server, a notification server or an imaging system. The information is utilized by the centralized audit logging module to determine specific parameters within the Internet fax service architecture to be logged. Finally, the event, including the information and the specific parameters, is recorded by the centralized audit logging module to an audit log associated with the Internet fax service architecture in a standardized format.
