An image processing apparatus according to the present disclosure is an image processing apparatus for automatically transmitting a document file by using a result of a character recognition process on a scan image of a document as a property, and includes: at least one processor that executes the program to perform: extracting a confidence factor indicating a degree of certainty of the result of the character recognition process; in a case where the extracted confidence factor is above a predetermined threshold value, determining that the document file using the result of the character recognition process as the property is allowed to be automatically transmitted; and setting the predetermined threshold value such that an incorrect transmission ratio of document files to be automatically transmitted reaches a target incorrect transmission ratio.

Events of interest within the video are identified based on the corresponding metadata, and best scenes are identified based on the identified events of interest. A video summary can be generated including one or more of the identified best scenes. The video summary can be generated using a video summary template with slots corresponding to video clips selected from among sets of candidate video clips. Best scenes can also be identified by receiving an indication of an event of interest within video from a user during the capture of the video. Metadata patterns representing activities identified within video clips can be identified within other videos, which can subsequently be associated with the identified activities.

An apparatus and method for storing an image in a storage folder corresponding to a file name in a mobile device are provided. The method includes obtaining a keyword list by analyzing a file name of the data to be stored, searching for at least one storage folder having a folder name corresponding to at least one keyword included in the keyword list, determining one of the found storage folders, and storing the data in the determined storage folder.

An image processing apparatus has a data reading section, a controlling section, and a display section. The data reading section reads a reproduced file selected from a first file and a second file. Here, the first file includes data of a first image together with metadata indicating a location of a second image related to the first image. An information processing device includes: a processor configured to: acquire (i) names of items whose set values have been changed from a setting screen and (ii) changed set values of the items; display, on a file name setting screen, one or more user-operable elements each corresponding to a respective one of the items whose set values have been changed; and in response to a user instruction, create a file name that includes (i) a name of at least one of the items and (ii) the set value of the at least one of the items, in which the file name is created in accordance with an arranged order of the elements displayed on the file name setting screen.
