20230224419 · 2023-07-13 · ·

Systems and methods are provided though which a transaction, e.g., in a multi-tier, distributed application may be initiated from a portable or hand-held device, such as a smartphone. A computer system or systems, possibly remote from the device, may approve the transaction, complete it, or both, and the remote computer system or systems may cause a document to be printed, e.g., by a printer physically proximate to the device.

Aspects of the invention are illustrated by embodiments in which a drug prescription may be created electronically using a hand-held device. In such an embodiment, the prescription may be transmitted to one or more remote computer systems, such as an application server, for processing. If specified, the remote computer systems may cause a prescription to be printed, e.g., at a printer near the prescriber's location. The prescriber may sign the printed prescription and give it to a patient or pharmacy.

PATH-BASED SURVEILLANCE IMAGE CAPTURE

Systems, methods, and computer readable media for performing task assignment, completion, and management within a crowdsourced surveillance platform. A remote server may identify targets for image capture and may assign capture tasks to users based on travel plans of the user. Users may be assigned task to capture image of target locations lying along a travel path. The remote server may aggregate data related to the captured images and use it to update a map and log changes to the target location over time.

Supplying content aware photo filters

A posting right giving device acquires, from a terminal device, a photographed image to which positional information indicating a photographing position of the image is added. The device acquires position history information indicating a history of positions of the terminal device. The device acquires, from a storage, region information indicating a region designated in advance for a community where information can be posted and posted information can be received via a network. The device executes, on the basis of determination that the photographing position indicated by the positional information added to the acquired image is included in the region indicated by the acquired region information and the photographing position corresponds to a position of the terminal device identified on the basis of the acquired position history information, processing forgiving a user of the terminal device a right to post information to the community.

A mobile client device includes a photo controller to identify when a client device captures a picture. Photo filters are designated based upon attributes of the mobile client device. The picture with a selected photo filter is sent to a server for routing to other client devices.

Micro-location based photograph metadata

A method, system, and computer program product for adding media file metadata based on micro-locations of a venue are provided. A media file is detected, where the media file is captured by a user at a venue. A plurality of wireless beacons are detected, where each of the plurality of wireless beacons is associated with a respective micro-location at the venue. A micro-location of the user is determined, based, at least in part, on: (i) a proximity of the user to a wireless beacon of the plurality of wireless beacons, and (ii) the respective micro-location of the wireless beacon. Metadata of the media file is populated, based on the determined micro-location of the user and any tag information for the determined micro-location, where the metadata includes a coordinate that relates to the micro-location of the user.

System for embedding searchable information, encryption, signing operation, transmission, storage database and retrieval

A cell phone is disclosed for acquiring information to be transmitted to a receiving facility and for transmitting such thereto. A capture device captures information from an external source. A processor is provided for associating with the captured information a representation of the date and time of the capture of the information, such that the representation of the date and time information in association with the captured information forms augmented captured information. The processor also places the augmented captured information in association with subscriber information in a transmission of the augmented captured information to a receiving facility requiring such subscriber information. A transmitter transmits the transmission including the augmented captured information and the subscriber information to the receiving facility. An encryptor encrypts the augmented captured information with a symmetrical encryption algorithm to provide encrypted augmented captured information in the transmission with the subscriber information.

Wearable device location systems architecture

Systems, methods, devices, computer readable media, and other various embodiments are described for location management processes in wearable electronic devices. Performance of such devices is improved with reduced time to first fix of location operations in conjunction with low-power operations. In one embodiment, low-power circuitry manages high-speed circuitry and location circuitry to provide location assistance data from the high-speed circuitry to the low-power circuitry automatically on initiation of location fix operations as the high-speed circuitry and location circuitry are booted from low-power states. In some embodiments, the high-speed circuitry is returned to a low-power state prior to completion of a location fix and after capture of content associated with initiation of the location fix. In some embodiments, high-speed circuitry is booted after completion of a location fix to update location data associated with content.

A technique for enabling accurate management of photography positions is provided. According to the first embodiment, a server device SV generates plan view data in which position coordinates of a photography point are plotted and transmits the plan view data to a user terminal MT, each time a photography operation is performed for a photography point. The plot position of the photography spot in the plan view data is corrected in accordance with a plot position correction request made by a user, and the corrected plan view data is stored as photography position management information.
