Methods and devices for assembling a fiber optic connector are provided. A device supports at least one fiber optic connector. The connector has an optical fiber inserted through the ferrule so that an exposed portion is disposed outside of the ferrule. Residual epoxy on the exposed portion is cured prior to physically manipulating the optical fiber within the ferrule. The device includes at least one heating chamber and a heat shield for curing of the residual epoxy.
LIQUID LITHIUM SUPPLY AND REGULATION
Methods and systems for the production and delivery of lithium metal of high purity are provided herein. In one or more embodiments, method for flowing liquid lithium to a processing chamber is provided and includes flowing liquid lithium from a lithium refill container to a liquid lithium delivery module, where the liquid lithium delivery module is fluidly coupled to the lithium refill container, and flowing the liquid lithium from the liquid lithium delivery module to the processing chamber. The liquid lithium delivery module contains a lithium storage region operable to store liquid lithium and containing a fluid supply line fluidly coupling an outlet port of a liquid lithium storage tank, and a flow meter positioned downstream from the lithium storage region along the fluid supply line and operable to monitor the flow of the liquid lithium through the fluid supply line.
BEARING SYSTEMS AND POWER CONTROL METHODS FOR BEARING DEVICE
Provided are a bearing system and a power control method for a bearing device. The bearing system comprises a susceptor; a rotating shaft fixed under the susceptor, where the rotating shaft and the susceptor rotate synchronously; a heating wire located under the susceptor, where the heating wire comprises n heating wire units arranged in a circumferential direction of the susceptor, n≥2, and temperature of each of the heating wire units is independently controlled; and a power controller configured to: during rotation of the susceptor, control at least one of: a power of a heating wire unit directly under a down end of the susceptor to be less than a power of each of other heating wire units, or a power of a heating wire unit directly under an up end of the susceptor to be greater than a power of each of other heating wire units.
Power-compensated fusion furnace
A power-compensated fusion furnace includes a power control system having one switching device per heating element, power measurement circuitry, a master temperature sensor, and a controller. Each switching device is electrically connected to a respective heating element. The controller, in conjunction with the switching devices, is able to individually control the electrical energy flowing to each heating element, thereby controlling the duty cycle of each heating element. The duty cycles are corrected for one or more of: variations in the electrical resistance of each heating element and position-dependent variations in furnace cavity temperature.
Hotplate stirrer
A hotplate device has a body with a platform for receiving a vessel that contains a sample to be heated. A heating element, arranged under the platform, provides heat to the platform, based on a set temperature and a measured temperature as sensed by at least one temperature sensor, proximate to the platform. A controller located in the body directs electrical power to the heating element. As a safety feature, a wireless communication feature allows a user to enter set temperature instructions from a mobile device when communication with the mobile device is enabled and established. A proximity feature, when enabled, allows the user to enter instructions only as long as the user remains in a predetermined proximity of the hotplate device.
Method and device for thermally activating a functional layer of a coating material
The present invention relates to a method for thermally activating a functional layer of a coating material, preferably an edge material, wherein the method comprises the following steps: providing the coating material; feeding the coating material to a device for thermally activating a functional layer of the coating material; and thermally activating the functional layer of the coating material, wherein the thermal activation of the functional layer of the coating material occurs by microwaves which are generated by at least one semiconductor wave generator. The present invention also relates to a device for thermally activating a functional layer of a coating material.
Liquid lithium supply and regulation
Methods and systems for the production and delivery of lithium metal of high purity are provided herein. In one or more embodiments, a liquid lithium delivery system contains a liquid lithium delivery module fluidly coupled to a lithium refill container.
Apparatus and method for vaporizing oxalic acid crystals to generate oxalic acid gas to treat bee mites
An oxalic acid vaporizer has a modular configuration, having a dispensing module and a manually detachable heating module. This modular configuration allows the first heating module to be easily separated from the dispensing module and a substitute heating module attached to the dispensing module, thereby allowing for a very fast replacement of the heating module in the event there is a failure or overheating in the first heating module. The substitute heating module may be a duplicate of the first heating module or the substitute heating module may have a more powerful fan, be capable of greater heat, or it may be of the type having a proportional-integral-derivative controller for controlling temperature. The modular configuration provides for a continuous oxalic acid gas treatment of bee hives by allowing an operator to change out heating modules in a matter of seconds.
