Control system for controlling a heater
The present disclosure is directed toward a control system for controlling a heater system. The control system includes a plurality of zone control circuits, at least two auxiliary controllers, and a primary controller. The zone control circuits are operable to provide power to a plurality of heater zones of the heater system and to sense performance characteristics of the zones. The auxiliary controllers are coupled to the plurality of zone control circuits to control power to the plurality of zones and to monitor operation of the heater zones based on the performance characteristics. The primary controller is coupled to the auxiliary controllers and is configured to provide an operation set-point for each of the heater zones based on the performance characteristics. The auxiliary controllers operate the zone control circuits to supply power to the heater system based on the operation set-point.

A circumferentially heating type curing needle is adapted for an E-cigarette and comprises a curing needle head that is built-in with a heating element. The curing needle head is externally plated with a non-stick coating which is a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) coating or a PTFE non-stick nano coating. The curing needle head is further provided with a fixed support and a ceramic base, the ceramic base is secured into the fixed support, and the curing needle head is fixedly inserted into the ceramic base. The E-cigarette is provided with the aforesaid circumferentially heating type curing needle.
HEATING MODULE AND SMOKING DEVICE
A heating module and a smoking device are provided by the present application. In the heating module, a heating assembly includes a supporting member and a heating coil. At least part of the heating coil is arranged on the supporting member. A housing member is disposed around an outer peripheral side of the heating assembly. A groove is arranged in an external surface of the supporting member. The heating coil includes a heating main body, and the heating main body twines inside the groove.
CONTROL SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING A HEATER
The present disclosure is directed toward a control system and method for controlling a heater system. The control system includes a plurality of zone control circuits, a primary controller, a plurality of power controllers, and a plurality of sensor controllers. The zone control circuits are operable to provide power to a plurality of heater zones of the heater system and to measure performance characteristics of the zones. The power controllers are coupled to the plurality of zone control circuits to control power to the plurality of zones. The sensor controllers monitor operation of the heater zones based on the performance characteristics. The primary controller is coupled to the power controllers and is configured to provide an operation set-point for each of the heater zones based on the performance characteristics.
MODULAR HEATER ASSEMBLY WITH INTERCHANGEABLE AUXILIARY SENSING JUNCTIONS
A heater system is provided, which includes a plurality of heaters, a controller for supplying power to the plurality of heaters, a plurality sets of auxiliary wires extending from the plurality of heaters, and a wire harness for connecting the plurality sets of auxiliary wires to the controller. Each set of auxiliary wires includes three wires, two of the three wires being made of different materials and being joined to form a thermocouple junction, such that each of the plurality of heaters is operable to function as both a heater and a temperature sensor.
ATOMIZING COMPONENT AND ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE
The present application is disclosed an atomizing component and an electronic cigarette. The atomizing component comprises a light-permeable e-liquid storage sleeve. An atomizing core is detachably connected to an end of the e-liquid storage sleeve. A fastening element for restricting radial expansion of the e-liquid storage sleeve is sleeved at where the e-liquid storage sleeve is insertedly connected to the atomizing core. An end of a ventilation pipe opposite to the atomizing core is a smoke emitting outlet in communication with a suction nozzle. An e-liquid filler hole is extended from the end of the ventilation pipe provided with the smoke emitting outlet. The smoke emitting outlet and the e-liquid filler hole are located on planes of different heights; while e-liquid is being added, the outer circumferential wall of the ventilation pipe blocks the e-liquid splashed accidentally, thus preventing the e-liquid from being splashed into the ventilation pipe.
ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING SMOKE AMOUNT OF ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE
An electronic cigarette and method for controlling the smoke amount of electronic cigarette. The electronic cigarette comprises a gas sensor (11), an atomizer (12), a voltage output unit (13) and a smoke volume control unit (14). The method for controlling the smoke amount of electronic cigarette comprises: pre-establishing the mathematical model of the relationship of smoking intensity, smoking time and the output voltage or output power; detecting current smoking intensity and smoking time of the electronic cigarette; calculating and/or finding out the corresponding voltage or power from the mathematical model, according to the detected smoking intensity and smoking time; and adjusting the voltage or power output to the atomizer (12) of the electronic cigarette according to the calculated and/or found voltage or power. Thus the smoke amount of the electronic cigarette is close or equal to the amount of the cigarette.
Heating smokeable material
An apparatus comprising a heater configured to heat smokable material to volatilize at least one component of the smokable material, wherein the heater is elongate and comprises a plurality of independently controllable heating regions arranged sequentially along a longitudinal axis of the heater.
SWITCH FAILURE MONITORING IN AN ELECTRICALLY HEATED SMOKING SYSTEM
A method of controlling an electric heater in an electrically heated smoking system is provided, including providing electrical power to the heater in pulses such that during active periods power is supplied to the heater and during inactive periods power is not supplied to the heater; charging a capacitor in an RC circuit during the inactive periods and allowing the capacitor to discharge during the active periods; and monitoring a discharge voltage of the capacitor and if the discharge voltage of the capacitor drops below a threshold voltage level, then stopping further supply of electrical power to the heater.
