The present specification relates to heater element, device provided therewith and method for manufacturing such heater element. The heater element comprises a heater of a resistance heating metal that is provided in, at or close to a fluid path configured for heating fluid, wherein the heater comprises a conductor that is provided with a porous ceramic layer. In embodiments, the ceramic layer is provided on or at the conductor with plasma electrolytic oxidation. The ceramic layer has a thickness in the range of 5-300 μm.
DRAIN MAST
A drain mast for an aircraft for discharge of water from the aircraft interior with a line which extends in a line direction from a connector end to a discharge end. The connector end can connect to another line in the interior of the aircraft, through which further line water flows into the drain mast. The discharge end can discharge water into a surrounding area of the aircraft. The line includes a plastic, into which a conductive material is embedded, by which the line can be heated electrically, by a heating current being conducted through the conductive material. A proportion of the embedded conductive material in the line increases in the line direction per length unit from the connector end of the line towards the discharge end such that the heating power which is introduced into the line per length unit increases from the connector end towards the discharge end.

The heating device comprises a heating body (11), wherein the heating body (11) comprises: a base body (111) provided with a chamber for receiving at least part of the aerosol generating substrate product; an infrared electrothermal coating (112), which is formed on the outer surface of the base body (111), used for receiving a power supply to generate heat and transfers the heat to the aerosol generating substrate product received in the chamber at least in an infrared radiation manner, so as to volatilize at least one component in the aerosol generating substrate product to form an aerosol which can be vaped; an electrode coating (113) part of the outer surface of the infrared electrothermal coating (112) and used for supplying the electric power of the power supply to the infrared electrothermal coating (112); and an infrared radiation coating (115) at least partially covering the infrared electrothermal coating (112), wherein the infrared radiation coating (115) can radiate infrared rays after a temperature rise. The heating device can improve the power efficiency of the power supply of the infrared electrothermal coating (112).
EMBEDDED WIRE CHEMICAL VAPOR DEPOSITION (EWCVD)
Methods of forming a ceramic matrix, as well as fiber preforms and methods of forming fiber preforms to facilitate formation of a ceramic matrix are provided. The method includes obtaining a fiber preform to facilitate forming the ceramic matrix. The fiber preform includes a fiber layer with a plurality of fibers and a heating element embedded within the fiber preform. The method also includes heating the fiber preform via the heating element embedded within the fiber preform, and depositing matrix material into the fiber preform by embedded wire chemical vapor deposition (EWCVD) of the matrix material during the heating of the fiber preform by the heating element. The chemical vapor deposition of the matrix material within the fiber preform facilitates formation of the ceramic matrix.
