Hemmed shelf for appliance-module assembly
An appliance including a cooking cavity wrapper and a first side wall disposed laterally adjacent a first side of the cooking cavity wrapper. The first side wall includes a first hemmed shelf formed as a U-shaped bend therein. The U-shaped bend defines an inward-extending flange comprising a top leg and a bottom leg disposed in face-to-face adjacency with one another. The first hemmed shelf is adapted to support a module of the appliance above the cooking cavity wrapper.
MICROWAVE HEATING APPLIED TO FOOD ADDITIVES
A system for processing food additive material is disclosed that includes at least one microwave generator, at least one microwave guide operatively connecting the at least one microwave generator to at least a first conveyor unit. The first conveyor unit is provided in a first housing that includes at least one opening configured to receive microwave energy via a first microwave guide and the first conveyor unit is configured to receive and process a quantity of food additive material, which includes heating the food additive material to a first temperature by applying microwave energy to the food additive material within the first housing.

Microwave appliance having a secondary cooking chamber
A microwave appliance, as provided herein, may include a cabinet, a magnetron, and a drawer liner. The cabinet may define a primary cooking chamber. The magnetron may be mounted within the cabinet in communication with the primary cooking chamber to direct a microwave thereto. The drawer liner may have a side wall joined to a base wall. The drawer liner may be slidably mounted to the cabinet to move along the vertical direction between a contracted position and an expanded position. The side wall may be received within the cabinet in the contracted position. The side wall may define a secondary cooking chamber with the base wall below the primary cooking chamber in the expanded position.
Combination microwave and hood system
A microwave hood system is provided. The microwave hood system includes a microwave oven enclosure defining a cooking cavity therein. A cooking component is positioned within the cooking cavity and configured to emit microwaves. The heating system defines a heating cavity therein, wherein the heating system is coupled to the microwave oven enclosure. A heating element is positioned in the heating cavity. The heating cavity reaches a temperature in a range from about 40° C. to about 80° C. when the heating element is in use. A broiler element is positioned within the heating cavity. The heating cavity reaches a temperature in a range from about hundred and 150° C. to about 300° C. when the broiler element is in use. A dual hood system is also coupled to the microwave hood system.

A battery powered microwave apparatus for microwaving food items without a power supply includes a housing. A housing front side has a door aperture extending through to a housing cavity. A door is pivotably coupled to the housing front side to selectively cover or uncover the door aperture. A microwave is coupled within the housing. A plurality of controls is coupled to the housing front side and is in operational communication with the microwave. A power supply is coupled within the housing and is in operational communication with the microwave. A battery bank includes a plurality of contacts and a plurality of battery supports configured to selectively receive a plurality of portable tool batteries to power the apparatus.

The cooking apparatus includes a housing, a cooking chamber formed in the housing, a heater arranged on one side of the cooking chamber, a door coupled to the housing to open and close the cooking chamber, the door including a door body provided to form an exterior of the door, a handle recessed from an outer surface of the door body, and a cooling plate positioned adjacent to an inner surface of the door body corresponding to the handle so as to dissipate heat that is generated by the heater and transferred to the handle.
