SPLIT-TYPE MICROWAVE OVEN
A split-type microwave oven comprises a first housing assembly, a second housing assembly, a microwave source module, a microwave shielding and choking member, and a detection device that is used for detecting whether a wave leakage occurs in a microwave heating resonant cavity. The second housing assembly is detachably disposed on the first housing assembly. The first housing assembly is provided with a first microwave shielding member, the second housing assembly is provided with a second microwave shielding member, and the first microwave shielding member is suitable for defining, together with the second microwave shielding member, the microwave heating resonant cavity. The microwave source module is installed on one of the first housing assembly and the second housing assembly. The microwave shielding and choking member is located outside the microwave heating resonant cavity. The split-type microwave oven occupies a small space and is convenient to use.
DETECTING A STANDSTILL OF A ROTATABLE MICROWAVE DISTRIBUTION DEVICE
In a method for detecting a standstill of a rotatable microwave distribution apparatus of a household microwave appliance, while microwaves are being supplied into a cooking compartment of the household microwave appliance, a microwave leakage radiation for angle-dependent recurring fluctuations is monitored and an action in the absence of such fluctuations being detected.
Detector for heating appliance
A device includes an antenna configured to be disposed within a cavity of an appliance. The appliance includes an electrode and the antenna includes a sheet of conductive material having a surface area that is equal to or greater than a surface area of the electrode. The device includes a voltage sensor coupled to the antenna, an output device, and a controller coupled to the voltage sensor and the output device. The controller is configured to generate an output at the output device. The output is determined by a voltage of the antenna.
DETECTING SPARK-OVERS DURING A MICROWAVE TREATMENT PROCESS OF A DOMESTIC MICROWAVE APPLIANCE
In a method for detecting spark-overs in a treatment compartment of a household microwave appliance during a microwave treatment process, a setting value of a microwave operating parameter can be varied during the microwave treatment process. During the microwave treatment process, measurement values of a leakage radiation are measured several times in succession under same setting values of the microwave operating parameter, and a spark-over is detected when a fluctuation range of the measurement values achieves or exceeds a predetermined fluctuation range.
Ovens With Metallic Belts And Microwave Launch Box Assemblies For Processing Food Products
In certain examples, a food processing machine for processing a food product includes a housing defining a cavity, a conveyor with a belt comprising metal for conveying the food product through the cavity in a longitudinal direction, and a convection heating system for heating air in the cavity such that heated air heats the food product as the food product is conveyed through the cavity. A microwave launch box system is configured to emit microwave energy into the cavity in a lateral direction transverse to the longitudinal direction to thereby further heat the food product as the food product is conveyed through the cavity.
Method for cooking food in a solid state microwave oven
A method for heating or cooking a frozen food product with a susceptor in a solid state microwave oven includes placing the frozen food product with a susceptor into a microwave oven, heating the food product at a first heating step at a low absorption frequency, and heating the food product at a second heating step at a high absorption frequency.
Microwave cooking appliance with user interface display
A microwave cooking appliance for increasing visibility into the cooking cavity. The microwave cooking appliance may include a door. The door may include a conductive mesh layer. The door may include a frame supporting the conductive mesh layer. The door may include a conductive and/or sealing engagement between the conductive mesh layer and the frame. The door may include a leak detection device. The leak detection device may be adjacent the conductive and/or sealing engagement. The door may include a user interface display and/or a touch screen.
Microwave cooking appliance with leak detection
A microwave cooking appliance for increasing visibility into the cooking cavity. The microwave cooking appliance may include a door. The door may include a conductive mesh layer. The door may include a frame supporting the conductive mesh layer. The door may include a conductive and/or sealing engagement between the conductive mesh layer and the frame. The door may include a leak detection device. The leak detection device may be adjacent the conductive and/or sealing engagement. The door may include a user interface display and/or a touch screen.

HOUSEHOLD MICROWAVE APPLIANCE HAVING MODE VARIATION APPARATUS
A household microwave appliance includes a cooking chamber exposable to microwaves. A mode variation apparatus modifies a field distribution of the microwaves in the cooking chamber, and a microwave leakage sensor detects a microwave leakage radiation exiting from the cooking chamber. The household microwave appliance is designed to vary setting values of the mode variation apparatus, and to set an operating point of the mode variation apparatus based on a quantity of measurement data of the detected microwave leakage radiation resulting from a variation.
