DETECTING A STANDSTILL OF A ROTATABLE MICROWAVE DISTRIBUTION DEVICE
In a method for detecting a standstill of a rotatable microwave distribution apparatus of a household microwave appliance, while microwaves are being supplied into a cooking compartment of the household microwave appliance, a microwave leakage radiation for angle-dependent recurring fluctuations is monitored and an action in the absence of such fluctuations being detected.
HEATING COOKING APPARATUS
A heating cooking apparatus (1) includes a heating cooking chamber (10), a housing (14), an opening/closing portion (30a), and a microwave supply unit (23). The opening/closing portion (30a) includes a flowing portion (31), a cam (32), a drive unit (33), a lid portion (34), and a biasing portion (35). The flowing portion (31) includes an opening (310B) that faces a through hole (10A1). The flowing portion (31) forms, between the flowing portion and the wall portion (10A), an inner space (IR) through which air flows. The cam (32) fits into the opening (310B). The drive unit (33) rotates the cam (32). The lid portion (34) opens or closes the through hole (10A1) in response to the rotation of the cam (32). The biasing portion (35) biases the lid portion (34) in a direction away from the through hole (10A1). The cam (32) presses the lid portion (34) against biasing force of the biasing portion (35) to cause the lid portion (34) to close the through hole (10A1).
HEATING COOKING APPARATUS
A heating cooking apparatus (100) includes a heating cooking chamber (100A), a microwave supply unit (15), and a pull-out body (2). The microwave supply unit (15) includes a microwave generation unit (151) configured to generate microwaves, a radiation port (15C) for radiating the microwaves into the heating cooking chamber (100A), and a waveguide (152) positioned below the heating cooking chamber (100A) and configured to guide the microwaves from the microwave generation unit (151) to the radiation port (15C). The pull-out body (2) includes a pull-out main body on which the object (H) to be heated is placed, and a support member (25) positioned below the heating cooking chamber (100A) and configured to support the pull-out main body. The support member (25) extends in a first direction (D1). The support member (25) and the waveguide (152) are positioned at different positions in a second direction (D2) intersecting the first direction (D1) and a vertical direction.
METHOD FOR OPERATING A DOMESTIC COOKING APPLIANCE AND DOMESTIC COOKING APPLIANCE
In a method for treating food in a food handling device with a parameter configuration a measured value distribution of a surface property of the food is determined after expiration of the period of time by means of a sensor. A pattern of change is calculated from a comparison of the p-th measured value distribution with a measured value distribution determined previously. An assessment value Bq which represents a difference between a deviation of a target distribution from the measured value distribution and a deviation of the target distribution from a prediction pattern is calculated for all patterns of change stored hitherto. The prediction pattern is formed by superimposing the measured value distribution with the respective pattern of change, and the parameter configuration is set for which the assessment value Bq meets at least one predetermined criterion.
HEATING COOKING APPARATUS
A heating cooking apparatus (100) includes a heating cooking chamber (100A) and a microwave supply unit (15). An object to be heated (H) is accommodated in the heating cooking chamber (100A). A microwave supply unit (15) includes a radiation port (15C) and supplies microwaves to the heating cooking chamber (100A) through the radiation port (15C). The radiation port (15C) is positioned below the heating cooking chamber (100A). The heating cooking apparatus (100) further includes a partitioning member (15B) that covers the radiation port (15C) and a placing portion (22) on which the object to be heated (H) is placed.
Microwave heating apparatus with rotatable antenna and method thereof
A microwave heating apparatus and a method for heating/browning a piece of food by means of microwaves are provided. The microwave heating apparatus comprises a cavity arranged to receive, in a substantially horizontal browning region, a piece of food to be browned. The microwave heating apparatus further comprises a microwave source for generating microwaves and a rotatable antenna arranged at the cavity bottom for supplying the generated microwaves. The antenna is configured to produce at least one radiating lobe pointing towards the browning region such that the intersection between the radiating lobe and the browning region forms a hot spot, thereby forming a ring-shaped heating pattern in the browning region under rotation of the antenna. The present invention is advantageous in that a microwave heating apparatus with an improved crisp function is provided.
HOUSEHOLD MICROWAVE APPLIANCE HAVING MODE VARIATION APPARATUS
A household microwave appliance includes a cooking chamber exposable to microwaves. A mode variation apparatus modifies a field distribution of the microwaves in the cooking chamber, and a microwave leakage sensor detects a microwave leakage radiation exiting from the cooking chamber. The household microwave appliance is designed to vary setting values of the mode variation apparatus, and to set an operating point of the mode variation apparatus based on a quantity of measurement data of the detected microwave leakage radiation resulting from a variation.
