Driving device
A driving device includes an electric motor, a rotating shaft, a motor housing, a printed circuit board, an electric power converting circuit, a rear frame end working as a heat radiating member, gel working as a heat transfer member, multiple mounted parts and so on. The heat radiating member is located on a side of the printed circuit board and facing a motor-side surface of the printed circuit board, to which multiple switching elements are mounted. The gel is plastically deformed and adhered to the switching elements and the heat radiating member for transferring heat of the switching elements to the heat radiating member. At least one of the mounted parts is mounted to the printed circuit board and located at a position between a through-hole opposing area and one of the switching elements, which is located at a position closest to a rotational angle sensor mounted to the printed circuit board in the through-hole opposing area.

An integrated circuit according to one or more embodiments may include a terminal to which an impedance element and a power supply having a predetermined potential can be connected. The integrated circuit may be configured to change a potential of one of electrodes of the impedance element connected to the terminal, detect a change in electrical characteristics of the terminal based on characteristics of the impedance element when the potential of the one electrode of the impedance element is changed, to determine a setting condition among a plurality of setting conditions that are used for an operation of the integrated circuit, store the setting condition in a storage, and use the setting condition stored in the storage for the operation of the integrated circuit.

Chip part having passive elements on a common substrate
A chip part includes a substrate, a first electrode and a second electrode which are formed apart from each other on the substrate and a circuit network which is formed between the first electrode and the second electrode. The circuit network includes a first passive element including a first conductive member embedded in a first trench formed in the substrate and a second passive element including a second conductive member formed on the substrate outside the first trench.

A printed wiring board includes a primary circuit that receives power supply of a high voltage from a high power source; a pattern for a low voltage circuit that is used when a low voltage component used for a low voltage lower than the high voltage and a power supply terminal block that receives power supply of the low voltage from a low power source are provided; a pattern for a common circuit that is used when a high voltage component used for the high voltage and the low voltage that insulates the pattern for the primary circuit from the pattern for the common circuit; a first insulator which insulates the pattern of the primary circuit from the pattern of the common circuit; and a second insulator that insulates the pattern for the common circuit from the pattern for the low voltage circuit.
PRINTED WIRING BOARD
A printed wiring board includes a first outer surface, a second outer surface, and an electronic circuit. The second outer surface is opposite to the first outer surface. The electronic circuit includes at least one specific design circuit block and at least one common design circuit block. The at least one specific design circuit block is provided on the first outer surface and designed in accordance with a specification of a device to which the printed wiring board is applied. The at least one common design circuit block is for a common use regardless of the specification of the device. The at least one common design circuit block is provided on the second outer surface.
Method and apparatus for printed circuit board with stiffener
A method and apparatus for inputting a plurality of different circuit schematics designed with printed circuit board (PCB) mountable components; extracting circuit topologies for said plurality of different circuit schematics; transforming said extracted circuit topologies to a fixed number of connection points; and generating a configurable circuit PCB physical layout pattern having said fixed number of connection points such that said PCB mountable components when positioned on one or more of said fixed number of connection points can implement any circuit represented by said plurality of different circuit schematics.
Shared resistor pad bypass
The electrical circuit can include a line circuit portion having a number of shared resistor pads, where each shared resistor pad is electrically coupled to an electrically conductive line lead, where the electrically conductive line lead carries a voltage capable of operating an electrical load. The electrical circuit can also include a load circuit portion comprising a number of unshared resistor pads. The electrical circuit can further include at least one zero ohm resistor electrically coupled to at least one shared resistor pad. The at least one zero ohm resistor can be configurable after manufacturing the printed circuit board. The load circuit portion can be electrically isolated from the line circuit portion in the absence of the at least one zero ohm resistor being further electrically coupled to at least one unshared resistor pad.
Electrochemically controlled capillarity to dynamically connect portions of an electrical circuit
Embodiments herein describe a capillary containing a eutectic conductive liquid (e.g., EGaIn) and an electrolyte (e.g., NaOH) that is integrated into a printed circuit board (PCB). In one embodiment, the capillary is formed in a through-hole in the PCB and has negative and positive electrodes at its respective ends to seal the eutectic conductive liquid and the electrolyte. The capillary further includes one or more electrodes that extend through a side of the portion of the capillary containing the liquids. The wiper electrodes also make electrical contact with respective conductive layers in the PCB. Using a DC voltage between the negative and positive electrodes, the eutectic conductive liquid forms electrical connections between the wiper electrodes, which in turn, forms electrical connections between the conductive layers in the PCB.
