POWER CONVERTER SYSTEM
A power converter system includes a printed circuit board having a first connector for receiving low voltage control signals and a second connector for receiving input voltages from one or more power generators and transmitting output voltages to a power distribution unit. Power devices are mounted onto the printed circuit board to manage the input voltages and to generate the output voltages. An enclosure is mounted around the printed circuit board and power devices. The power devices engage interior surfaces of the enclosure forming a conductive heat path between the power devices, the interior surfaces, and exterior surfaces of the enclosure. The heat path conductively transfers heat from the power devices to the exterior surfaces.

The power conversion switching circuit part includes an upper arm switching element and a lower arm switching element packaged by synthetic resin, and is mounted on a power conversion switching circuit board that is mounted to a power conversion switching circuit part heat dissipation section of the end face part for heat dissipation. A power supply circuit part and the second part of the power conversion circuit part are mounted on a power supply circuit board that is mounted to a power supply circuit part heat dissipation section of the end face part for heat dissipation.
Electrical device having a housing part and a cover part
An electrical device includes a housing part and a cover part, the cover part being connected to the housing part, in particular with the aid of screws, the cover part in particular covering an opening of the housing part. A first circuit board is connected to the cover part, and an elastically preloaded sheet-metal part, in particular an elastically preloaded tab section of a sheet-metal part, presses at least one heat-generating component, in particular a controllable semiconductor switch, in the direction of the cover part, in particular for the purpose of dissipating heat from the heat-generating component into the environment via the cover part.
Semiconductor module and vehicle
A semiconductor module includes a semiconductor device, and a cooling device. The semiconductor device includes a semiconductor chip and a circuit board for mounting the chip. The cooling device includes a top plate mounted in the semiconductor device and having a side wall connected thereto, a bottom plate connected to the side wall, and a refrigerant circulating portion, defined by the top plate, the side wall, and the bottom plate and has a substantially rectangular shape with a cross section parallel to a main surface of the top plate having long and short sides. The circuit board is a substantially rectangular laminated circuit board including an insulating plate having an upper surface with a circuit layer and a lower surface with a metal layer. In a plan view, at least one corner of the metal layer at least partially overlaps with the slope portion of the side wall.

Power adapter
An efficient, high density, inline converter module includes a power conversion circuit and an input wiring harness for connecting the input of the power circuit to a unipolar source. A second wiring harness or electrical connectors may be provided for connecting the output of the power conversion circuit to a load. Connections between a wiring harness and the power conversion circuit may comprise conductive contacts, configured to distribute heat. The power circuit may be over molded to provide electrical insulation and efficient heat transfer to external ambient air. A DC transformer based inline converter module may be used in AC adapter, vehicular, and power system architectures. An input connector for connecting the input wiring harness to the input source may be provided. In some embodiments the input source may be an AC source and the input connector may comprise a rectifier for delivering a rectified, unipolar, voltage to the input of the power conversion assembly via an input wiring harness. By separating the rectifier from the power conversion assembly, the power conversion assembly may be packaged into a smaller volume than would be required if the rectifier, and its associated heat loss, were included in the power conversion assembly.
