AUTOMATIC PACING SYSTEM FOR A BABY BOTTLE
20210361533 · 2021-11-25 ·

A baby bottle, an insert for a baby bottle, a baby bottle including an insert, and a method of feeding an infant that serves to pace the infant's feeding rhythm. Generally, these devices and methods will be of use for a preterm infant who lacks coordination of the suck-swallow-breathe synchrony, but can also be used with full term infants who can benefit from rigid control of the flow of milk from a bottle, this includes, but is not limited to, infants with gastroesophageal reflux who can require pacing of feeds to allow for gastric emptying. The device generally cues the infant to swallow and breathe after each 1-4 sucks by stopping the flow of the fluid from the bottle after the infant has sucked sufficiently or a predetermined period of time has passed. Once the baby breathes or a period of time passes, the bottle resets for the next repetition. The device also serves to consistently slow the flow of milk during oral feeding.

This invention is a new and novel embodiment of inflation valve for an inflatable boat or article, which also incorporates a separate and internal pressure release valve to allow the release of air when needed due to the rise of internal pressure inside said boat caused by temperature changes during the day, or any other over-pressure situation which could cause a rupture of the seams or outer shell.

Oil-hydraulic valve

A pressure limiting valve (1), operationally arranged between a high pressure zone and low pressure zone (HP, LP) of a hydraulic circuit, comprises: a valve body (4) defining a passage (11) for a fluid; a closing member (8) having a stem (10) and a closing head (9) connected thereto and movably engaged with the valve body (4) so as to move along a longitudinal or axial direction (X) between positions (P1, P2) for closing and opening the passage (11), in an opening direction (OD) and closing direction (CD), respectively; a sleeve (12) which is joined to the stem (10); a spring (S1) arranged between the sleeve (12) and the valve body (4) so as to exert a force on the closing member (8) along said longitudinal or axial direction (X), in the closing direction (CD); said sleeve (12) is irreversibly locked to the stem (10) by means of a threadless mechanical connection, in a predefined longitudinal or axial position of the said stem (10), so that the spring (S1) exerts a force of predefined value on the closing member (8) arranged in the closed position (P).

Fluidic safety valve and battery component equipped therewith

Embodiments disclose a fluidic safety valve comprising a valve housing including at least one fluid inlet opening and at least one fluid outlet opening. A closing element, guided in the valve housing, is preloaded by a spring element at a predetermined preloading force toward a closed position of the safety valve. In the closed position, a fluid flow from the at least one fluid inlet opening toward the at least one fluid outlet opening is blocked. When a predetermined fluid pressure is reached, the closing element moves toward an open position of the safety valve, enabling a fluid flow from the at least one fluid inlet opening toward the at least one fluid outlet opening. The valve housing is sealed by a valve housing sealing element comprising an effective fluid pressure force surface coupled to the closing element and configured to carry along the closing element relative to the housing.
