Puller
A puller for pulling an element, such as a pulley or seal, from an assembly to which it is fitted. The puller generally includes a central body having a longitudinal axis, an adjustment ring threaded on the body for moving longitudinally with rotation, slide followers coupled to the ring and moving longitudinally with ring rotation, a plurality of leg assemblies, each including a foot and two legs pivotly attaching the foot to the body so as to form a parallelogram, and a arm pivotly connecting each slide follower to a leg assembly for expanding or contracting the leg assembly. Each foot has one or more foot flanges, each with an engagement surface for engaging with the element to be pulled; the orientation of the engagement surfaces being predetermined so as to not disengage from the element and to provide uniform pull and minimum pressure.
Puller Tool and Adapter
A puller tool comprises a cross bar with a central portion having a through hole defining a first axis; a forcing screw configured to extend through the through hole; and an adapter detachably attached to the cross bar and having a threaded hole defining a second axis for the forcing screw, and wherein the first axis and second axis are substantially aligned. The adapter comprises a threaded hole configured to receive the forcing screw and defining a second axis, wherein the first axis and second axis are substantially aligned; a base portion containing the threaded hole and arrangeable adjacent a first axial side of the cross bar; at least a first wall portion extending away from the base portion and arrangeable adjacent to a first lateral side of the central portion of the cross bar, and wherein the adapter is detachably attachable to the cross bar.

Hydraulic cylinder assembly system
A hydraulic cylinder assembly system preferably includes a seal installer tool, a piston puller tool and a barrel ring. The seal installer tool includes a tapered ring and a piston plug. The piston plug is inserted into the piston and seals slipped over the tapered ring. The piston puller tool preferably includes a piston rod engagement member, a thrust bearing retainer, a thrust bearing, a draw rod and a barrel end retainer. The thrust bearing is retained in the thrust bearing retainer and one end of the draw rod is retained in thrust bearing retainer. One end of the piston engagement member is threaded into the thrust bearing retainer. An opposing end of the piston engagement member is threaded into a piston rod. The barrel end retainer is threaded on to an opposing end of the draw rod. The barrel ring is attached to a barrel of a water pump.
Wheel removal devices
Improved wheel removal tools may include a frame, one or more removal members movably coupled to the frame and one or more connection members coupled to a respective removal member. In operation, the frame may be attached to the wheel, such as at one or more wheel studs or bolts, and the connection members may be attached to the wheel, such as by engaging apertures in the wheel. The base may be configured to leverage the wheel studsrather than the axle hubduring the wheel removal process. Once engaged with the wheel, the removal members may be moved away from the wheel by an operator so that the connection members pull the wheel to dislodge the seized wheel from the vehicle.
Replacement tool for driveshaft yoke bushings
A replacement tool removes an old bushing or installs a new bushing in a driveshaft yoke. A fixture has a guide chamber facing a bushing bore and a first threaded passage. A traveler mounted in the fixture has a plunger received in the guide chamber and a socket that holds the bushing. The plunger has a second threaded passage aligned with the first passage and having a smaller diameter. A set screw can lock the bushing into the socket. A removal bolt with a shaft matching the second passage is inserted through both passages. Turning of the removal bolt retracts the traveler and extracts the bushing. The tool is reconfigured with an installation bolt in the first passage only. A push plug is placed in the guide chamber to transfer force from the installation bolt to the plunger during turning of the installation bolt to press fit a new bushing.
