Jointed member
A jointed member may include a first elongate section having a surface defining a first oblong opening, a second elongate section having a surface defining a second oblong opening, and a fastener passing through the first oblong opening and the second opening to connect the first elongate section and the second elongate section, where the first oblong opening and the second oblong opening move relative each other and the fastener as the jointed member transitions from a first predetermined state towards a second predetermined state.
Ball channel assembly
A ball channel and ball channel assembly are disclosed with the ball channel having a channel top, a channel bottom, and an inner portion including a first inner sidewall, a second inner sidewall, a first end wall, and a second end wall. A first resilient tab extends from the first inner sidewall with a first tab end surface, and a second resilient tab extends from the second inner sidewall with a second tab end surface. An elongated gutter extends longitudinally along the inner portion and adjacent the channel bottom, wherein the combination of the first and second tab end surfaces and a gutter top surface form a ball track for receiving a head of a ball stud and allowing secured sliding longitudinal movement of the head. An outer portion is also provided having a flange wall that is configured to engage a receiving wall of a mounting panel.
WEARABLE PROTECTION DEVICE, METHOD OF ASSEMBLING SAID WEARABLE PROTECTION DEVICE AND MOTORCYCLE BOOT COMPRISING SAID WEARABLE PROTECTION DEVICE
The present invention relates to a wearable protection device (1) comprising a modular frame (3) with at least two shaped members (4A, 4B, 4C) and hinge means (9) for hinging the shaped members (4A, 4B, 4C) therebetween at corresponding hinging points (5) and around respective rotation axes (X). Each of said hinge means (9) comprises a pivot element (12) and a disc element (13) which are permanently coupled by riveting of the pivot element (12). After the riveting the pivot element (12) is flush with the disc element (13). The present invention also relates to a method of assembling said wearable protection device (1) and to a motorcycle boot (B) comprising said wearable protection device (1).
JOINTED MEMBER
One or more embodiments of the present disclosure provide a jointed member. The jointed member may include a first elongate section having a surface defining a first oblong opening, a second elongate section having a surface defining a second oblong opening, and a fastener passing through the first oblong opening and the second opening to connect the first elongate section and the second elongate section, where the first oblong opening and the second oblong opening move relative each other and the fastener as the jointed member transitions from a first predetermined state towards a second predetermined state.
Jointed member
One or more embodiments of a jointed member are provided.
SHAPE-SHIFTING A CONFIGURATION OF REUSABLE ELEMENTS
An apparatus, an element for a game assembly, and a game assembly apparatus. The apparatus includes a three-dimensional body having a geometric shape and which is displaceable between an initial state and a goal state that is different from said initial state. A motion-restriction function is to limit the displacement of a centre point of the body with respect to a centre point of another body along a trajectory. At least one sensor is to provide input regarding the presence of another body in contact with the body and which is to allow the displacement of the body based on the input. A computer program is to allow displacement of the body based at least part of on a factor of randomness.
Shape-shifting a configuration of reusable elements
A system having at least a first, a second and a third three-dimensional element, each element including a center point in the element, and a face with a motion-guiding module, coupled to the center point and defining a trajectory over the element, a motion module, adapted for displacing the center point with respect to a second center point of one of the other elements using the motion-guiding module of that other element, a motion-restriction module, adapted for limiting the displacement of the center point with respect to the second center point to at least one trajectory selected from the group which includes the trajectory and a second trajectory of the other element.
Power disc style seat recliner
A power disc style seat reclining mechanism for a vehicle seat includes a seat base fixed mounted guide disc pivotally connected to a set of pivotal discs. The pivotal discs include an internal disc segment and a seat back attaching member. Within the internal disc is a connection features and linkage that may be actuated by a center shaft that is driven by a motor. When the internal disc is rotated, the desired seat back position is the end result as the motion is discontinued.
