SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MONITORING AN AGRICULTURAL BELT
A belt monitoring system for an agricultural belt arrangement, the monitoring system including an agricultural belt having a magnetic element embedded therein and a sensor. The agricultural belt arrangement defines a proper belt alignment for the belt and moves the belt. The magnetic element is polarized so as to output a magnetic signal. The sensor is configured to detect, at a reference position, the magnetic signal outputted by the magnetic element. The monitoring system further includes a circuit configured to output a signal if, for example, the agricultural belt moves more than a predetermined amount through the agricultural belt arrangement without the sensor arrangement detecting the magnetic signal outputted by the magnetic element, a predetermined amount of time passes without the sensor detecting the magnetic signal, and the circuit determines the position of the magnetic element to be outside of a permissible positional range.
Electromagnetic measuring system for detecting length and angle on the basis of the magnetoimpedance effect
A measuring arrangement for distance or angle measurement and a corresponding measuring method are described. In accordance with one example, the measuring arrangement comprises a scale having magnetization which varies along a measuring direction and which brings about a correspondingly varying magnetic field. The measuring device furthermore comprises at least one scanning head which is permeated by the varying magnetic field depending on the relative position with respect to the scale in the measuring direction. The scanning head comprises the following: at least one ferromagnetic film having, on account of the magneto impedance effect, a local electrical impedance that is dependent on the magnetic field and varies along the measuring direction, and at least one sensor unit configured to generate at least two phase-shifted sensor signals which are dependent on the local electrical impedance of the film.
TRANSPORT DEVICE HAVING AT LEAST ONE CHAIN
The invention relates to a transport device (100), in particular for transporting product carriers in a plant for manufacturing food products. The transport device (100) comprises at least one chain (1) to which measuring marks (4) are attached, an electrical drive system (20) for driving the chain (1) with a servo motor (25) and an absolute encoder (21), a plant control unit (30) and a measuring sensor (11) for detecting the measuring marks (4) with a switching frequency of greater than 2000/s. The plant control unit (30) comprises a first input (34) for receiving measurement data from the measuring sensor (11) and a second input (35) for receiving position data from the position sensor (21) and is designed to receive data from the measuring sensor (11) and from the position sensor (21), to mutually correlate said data correctly with respect to time, to determine therefrom lengths between measurement marks (4), more particularly between two consecutive measurement marks, and to produce a signal which provides information about the quality of the chain. A servo position actual value is ascertained by means of oversampling. (FIG. 2)
Biological tissue inspection device and method therefor
A biological tissue inspection apparatus is disclosed. The biological tissue inspection apparatus comprises a stage and a probe. The probe comprises an optical imaging device, an optical interference detector, and a light guide. The probe acquires data regarding optical images and optical interference, through the optical imaging device and the optical interference detector. The stage or the probe moves such that a selected area of the inspection object is positioned in the FOV of the optical imaging device and of the optical interference detector. The light guide is configured such that illumination light from the optical imaging device and measurement light from the optical interference detector are coaxially emitted to the inspection object.
Scale fixating device
A scale fixating device includes a fixing block unmovably fixating a first end of a scale to an object, and a pulling block fixating a second end of the scale to the object while pulling the second end of the scale to the second end side. The pulling block includes a fixated base fixated to an object, a slide holding the second end of the scale and installed slidably with respect to the fixated base, and a pulling mechanism having a first end engaged to the slide and a second end engaged to the fixated base, the pulling mechanism pulling the slide toward the second end relatively with respect to the fixated base. The scale fixating device either prevents a friction force from changing between the slide and the fixated base or generates an extremely large friction force between the slide and the fixated base.
Scale fixating device
A scale fixating device includes a fixing block unmovably fixating a first end of a scale to an object, and a pulling block fixating a second end of the scale to the object while pulling the second end of the scale to the second end side. The pulling block includes a fixated base fixated to an object, a slide holding the second end of the scale and installed slidably with respect to the fixated base, and a pulling mechanism having a first end engaged to the slide and a second end engaged to the fixated base, the pulling mechanism pulling the slide toward the second end relatively with respect to the fixated base. The scale fixating device either prevents a friction force from changing between the slide and the fixated base or generates an extremely large friction force between the slide and the fixated base.
Magnetic sensor for tracking the location of an object
An apparatus for emitting a field comprising a core, a conductive winding with a first end, a second end, and an intermediate portion, where the conductive winding surrounds a portion of the core and is wound about a winding axis, a protrusion for aligning the apparatus where the protrusion is parallel with the winding axis, and a conductive connector extending from the conductive winding, wherein the conductive connector is electrically coupled with the conductive winding at the intermediate portion.
DIGITAL MEASUREMENT APPARATUS AND DIGITAL MEASUREMENT METHOD
Disclosed is a digital measurement apparatus including a mounting part on which a measurement object is placed; and a measuring part for measuring the length of the measurement object and providing the measurement value of the measured measurement object as a reference value for adjusting the length of a new measurement object, wherein the measuring part measures the length of the measurement object using any one selected from among a moving method of converting a distance moved due to interference with the measurement object placed on the mounting part; a radiation method of radiating a measurement signal toward the measurement object and converting information of the detected measurement signal into the length of the measurement object; and a scanning method of scanning the measurement object. With this configuration, accuracy in measuring the length of a measurement object may be improved using a simple structure.
CHAIN SENSOR DEVICE AND METHOD FOR DETERMINING WEAR
The invention relates to a method of determining the elongation of segments of a chain during operation, comprising the following steps: Performing a first detection to determine a position of a first chain component and detecting a first measurement value, performing a second detection to determine a position of a second chain component and detecting a second measurement value, and determining the distance L between the first and the second chain component, wherein the first detection and the second detection are performed simultaneously.
