VENUES MAP APPLICATION AND SYSTEM
In some implementations, a computing device can provide a map application providing a representation of a physical structure of venues (e.g., shopping centers, airports) identified by the application. In addition, the application can provide an inside view that includes the physical layout and geometry of the venue's structure as well as the location, structure and layout of points of interest (e.g., stores, security check points, restrooms) within the venue. The views become more detailed as the user zooms into the venue to reveal points of interest and to give the user a feel for traversing the venue.
Venues map application and system providing indoor routing
In some implementations, a computing device can provide a map application providing a representation of a physical structure of venues (e.g., shopping centers, airports) identified by the application. In addition, the application can provide a route and/or turn-by-turn navigation instructions to a destination within a venue comprising one or more floors when desired by the user.
DISPLAY CONTROL DEVICE, DISPLAY CONTROL SYSTEM, AND DISPLAY CONTROL METHOD
It is an object of the present invention to set concealment targets suited to a user, as to a display of a display device mounted on a vehicle, without requiring user's time and effort. A navigation device includes a communication unit for receiving a classification criterion in accordance with an attribute of a user, from a server, a classification unit for classifying the display information into the confidential information and the non-confidential information on the basis of the classification criterion received by the communication unit, and a display control unit for performing a display control of a display device so that the confidential information and the non-confidential information should be displayed in a first display mode and the confidential information should not be displayed and the non-confidential information should be displayed in a second display mode.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PREDICTION ROAD CONDITION, DEVICE AND COMPUTER STORAGE MEDIUM
A method and apparatus for predicting a road condition, a device and a computer storage medium are disclosed. The method includes: determining at least two continuous road segments obtained by dividing a navigation path; and performing the following processing on each road segment one by one from the starting point of the navigation path to the end point thereof respectively: determining the moment when the user reaches the road segment processed currently; predicting road condition information of the road segment processed currently at the determined moment; and predicting passing duration of the user at the road segment processed currently based on the road condition information of the road segment processed currently at the determined moment. With such a road-condition prediction mode, the road condition at the moment when the user will reach each road segment in the future may be predicted, and compared with the mode of predicting the road condition based on the user query moment, more accurate road condition information may be provided.
INFORMATION PROVIDING DEVICE, VEHICLE, AND METHOD OF PROVIDING INFORMATION
An information providing device is equipped with a position information acquisition unit that acquires information concerning a position of a user's own vehicle, a regional information acquisition unit that acquires regional information defined by information concerning a region located on a travel route of the user's own vehicle, and a providing unit that provides the regional information acquired by the regional information acquisition unit in accordance with the position of the user's own vehicle, in the case it is determined by a determination unit that a visiting experience of a driver is less than an experience threshold value, or in the case it is determined by the determination unit that a visiting interval of the driver is greater than or equal to an interval threshold value.
IN-VEHICLE DEVICE, INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, CONTROL METHOD FOR IN-VEHICLE DEVICE, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
An in-vehicle device that is connected to an image pickup device and that is utilized by a first user, the in-vehicle device includes: a location information transmission unit configured to transmit first location information indicating a location of the in-vehicle device to an information processing device; a visit history receiving unit configured to receive visit history information of a second user, the visit history information being acquired by the information processing device based on preference information of the first user indicating a preference of the first user; and an image pickup control unit configured to cause the image pickup device to acquire an image based on a result of comparison between a first location indicated by the first location information and a second location indicated by second location information about a visited place which is visited by the second user included in the visit history information.
System for providing a notification of a presence of an occupant in a vehicle through historical patterns and method thereof
The systems and methods disclosed herein are directed to providing a notification of a presence of an occupant in a vehicle before arriving at a destination. In an illustrative embodiment, the vehicle may include a location system for tracking routes taken or traveled by the vehicle. The vehicle may include a detection system for determining whether the occupant is in the vehicle along those routes traveled by the vehicle. The vehicle may also include a notification system. The notification system may store the routes traveled by the vehicle with and without the occupant in the vehicle. The notification system may provide a notification when a route is taken with the occupant and the route is not associated with the occupant based on the historical patterns of the routes traveled by vehicle with and without the occupant.
Information processing device, automatic playing method of content
An information processing device is installed in a vehicle and comprises an action history DB which stores a plurality of action histories including a combination of a content that was played based on an instruction of a user and a situation in which the content was played, and an automatic playing unit which, when a current elapsed time as an elapsed time from a time that an ignition switch of the vehicle was most recently turned ON or a current travel distance as a travel distance from a time that an ignition switch of the vehicle was most recently turned ON matches any one of the action histories of the action history DB, plays a content included in the matching action history.
Apparatus and method for recommending function of vehicle
The present disclosure provides an apparatus for recommending a function of a vehicle. The apparatus includes a communication circuit configured to communicate with an external device, an output device configured to provide information to a user of the vehicle, a memory, and a processor configured to be electrically connected with the communication circuit, the output device, and the memory. The processor is configured to obtain a message associated with the user of the vehicle from an external device using the communication circuit, extract event information associated with movement of the user from the message associated with the user, and when a specified condition corresponding to the event information is met, output a notification of recommending execution of a task associated with the event information using the output device.
Enhanced navigation instruction
Systems, methods, and technologies are provided for enhanced navigation instruction. In one implementation, a first input is received with respect to a device. The first input is processed to determine a navigation initiation instance with respect to the device. Based on the navigation initiation instance, a navigation destination is identified. Based on the identified navigation destination, a navigation route associated with the device is identified. An alternative route is computed based on a current location of the device and the identified navigation destination. The identified navigation route is compared with the computed alternative route. The alternative route is identified as preferable to the identified navigation route with respect to one or more criteria and above a defined threshold. A degree of familiarity of a user with the alternative route is determined. Notifications are generated based on the determined degree of familiarity. The notifications are provided via interface(s) of the device.
