Reusable Magnetic Bottle Closures, Methods, and Systems
Reusable drinking bottle closures, and methods and systems for storing and using the same, are provided. The drinking bottle closures include a sealing portion, an upper side that may bear indicia, and a magnet retained in fixed relation to the sealing portion and the upper side. The magnet may be retained in a cavity of the closure separated from the sealing portion by a seamless barrier, such as a unitary body comprised at least partially in the sealing portion. The sealing portion may fit one or multiple bottle opening sizes. Multiple opening sizes may be accommodated by a frictionally retained tapered plug feature for sealing insertion into a bottle opening, or an end sealing feature operating in conjunction with a separate retention feature, such as a radially compressible cap liner configured to grip bottle threads in an interference fit. The end sealing feature may be a downward-facing compressible ring or disc on a lower side of the closure. In a method of use, the cap may be retained on a magnetically attracted surface until used to close and identify a drinking bottle. The magnetically attracted surface may be part of an existing wall, fixture, or movable article, or it may be a component of a closure storage system according to the invention, such as a plate connected to a mount for connecting the magnetic surface to a non-magnetic surface, such as a pushpin, suction cup, hook-and-loop fastener patch, snap, button, fabric with a button-hole, adhesive, or hole in the surface itself.
Parenteral vial cap
A parenteral vial, stopper and cap assembly comprises a vial having a body defining an interior, and an opening leading to the interior. The assembly further comprises a stopper configured to sealingly engage the opening, a cap configured to cover the opening and the stopper. The stopper and the cap fit together to form an integral unit configured to cap the vial. The cap moves with respect to the vial between a partially engaged position that permits gas flow out from the vial interior, and a fully engaged position in which the stopper sealingly engages the opening.
Apparatus and method for securing a vessel
An apparatus for securing a vessel includes a primary cap having a threaded portion that is configured to selectively engage corresponding threads of a vessel to secure the primary cap to the vessel, and at least one projection. The apparatus further includes a removable secondary cap configured to engage the primary cap to secure the vessel, the secondary cap including at least one lug, the lug having a shear zone that contacts the projection when the primary and secondary caps are engaged and secured to a vessel. When the secondary cap is removed from the primary cap, the shear zone is broken by the projection such that the secondary cap cannot by reinstalled on the primary cap.
LID FOR A BEVERAGE CONTAINER
A lid with a stopper for use with a beverage container is described. The lid includes a lid body to fit into an opening of the beverage container. The lid includes a stopper to threadably engage with the lid body. A drink opening is formed between the lid body and the stopper. The stopper rotates between open and closed positions to open and close the drink opening. The stopper includes hook members. The hook members are movable relative to the stopper. The hook members releasably hold the stopper to the lid.
PLUG FOR BEVERAGE CONTAINER LID
A device and system for temporarily sealing an orifice in a beverage container lid comprising a plug (10, 110, 210, 310) having an upper surface (14, 114, 214), a body portion (12, 112), and a lower surface (16, 116, 216), said body portion adapted to be inserted and releasably retained in the orifice to provide a temporary seal thereof, and an external member (20, 120, 220) located on the upper surface of the plug configured to allow a user to grip the plug for ease of removal from the orifice.
Beverage container with insulated cover
A beverage container assembly is provided comprising a beverage container body, a stopper member removably attachable to the beverage container to seal a beverage container aperture thereof, and a thermal insulation member removably attachable to an upper body portion of the beverage container body. The thermal insulation member has a sidewall extending downwardly from an upper portion and defining a downwardly opening cavity within which the upper body portion and the stopper are positioned. The sidewall and the upper portion of the thermal insulation member each include an inner wall and an outer wall spaced apart from the inner wall. An insulation chamber is disposed between the inner and outer walls. The thermal insulation member includes an engagement portion adapted to engage with a corresponding engagement portion of the upper body portion to removably attach the thermal insulation member thereto.
Medical rubber stopper and method for producing medical rubber stopper
The present invention aims to provide a medical rubber stopper that is excellent in chemical resistance and airtightness while having good productivity. The present invention relates to a medical rubber stopper including: a disk-shaped head portion with a flange region; and a cylindrical leg portion protruding from the lower surface of the head portion and having a smaller diameter than the head portion, the lower surface of the flange region and the leg portion being laminated with an inert film, the lower surface of the flange region and/or the outer periphery of the leg portion being provided with an annular groove through which the base rubber is exposed.
Temperature controlled product shipper
A temperature controlled product shipper includes a phase change material bladder which can be filled at the point of packaging. The shipper includes an internal product box and an outer box where the product box is received within the outer box. The phase change material bladder is received within a cavity defined between the outer surface of the product box and the inner surface of the outer box. The shipper may also include an insulated liner which is received between the product box and the bladder.
Closure stopper for pharmaceutical applications
A closure stopper for pharmaceutical applications has a sealing flange seating in a sealing manner on an end face of the container's closure mouth. The sealing flange has a lower sealing surface and a boundary plane contacting an area protruding farthest downwardly and extending perpendicularly to the closure stopper's center axis. An engagement portion extending below the sealing flange is formed with a smaller radial extent than the sealing flange. Preferably a handling portion extends above the sealing flange. A circumferential sealing projection also is formed on the engagement portion and protrudes by a radial dimension with respect to an axial portion of the engagement portion initially adjoining the sealing flange from underneath and having a portion-radius. The sealing projection, at least with respect to its base portion, vertically overlaps a set-back region formed on the sealing flange and set back with respect to the contact plane.
Closures for a product retaining container and related systems and methods
Container closures wherein at least one void comprised in the closure is at least partially filled with a gas or gaseous mixture which by composition or pressure is different from air are disclosed. The oxygen content of said gas can be lower than the oxygen content of air. Through use of such closures for sealing closed containers, the amount of air and therefore oxygen that enters the closed container through closure desorption can be effectively controlled, changed, or even largely eliminated.
