Some embodiments provide a container and retaining system that includes a container, a handle, and a retaining apparatus. The handle is coupled to the container. The retaining apparatus includes a base. The retaining apparatus also includes a first coupling member having a first handle retaining portion and a second coupling member having a second handle retaining portion. The first coupling member and the second coupling member extend downwardly from the base. The retaining apparatus also includes a first retaining arm, a second retaining arm, and a third retaining arm extending upwardly from the base. The first retaining arm, the second retaining arm, and the third retaining arm are configured to retain an object. The retaining apparatus is configured to be coupled to the container by the first coupling member and the second coupling member.

Rack and frame systems disclosed herein are for displaying equipment/memorabilia and photographs. The system preferably includes a base, a rack subsystem, and a frame subsystem. The base preferably includes a base spine, a plurality of base ribs, and a plurality of base mounts. Each base rib preferably extends from the base spine and has an associated base mount. The rack subsystem includes at least one attachment device and the base spine. The attachment device(s) is/are for removably securing the equipment/memorabilia to the base spine. The frame subsystem includes a plurality of frames and the plurality of base mounts. Each frame is connectable to a respective base mount.

A telescopic fishing rod carrycase for storing and transporting a fishing rod comprises a primary hollow compartment (PHC), a docking attachment, a first hollow casing (FHC), a second hollow casing (SHC), a third hollow casing (THC), and a locking mechanism. The PHC comprises an outer surface and an inner surface. The docking attachment is detachably attached to a projection positioned on the outer surface of the PHC for securing the fishing rod. The outer surface of the FHC is slidably engaged to the inner surface of the PHC. The outer surface of the SHC is slidably engaged to the inner surface of the FHC. The outer surface of the THC is slidably engaged to the inner surface of the SHC. The locking mechanism restrains the FHC, SHC, and THC in an extended position. The FHC, SHC, and THC together store the fishing rod.

A fishing rod and equipment storage system is provided. The fishing rod and equipment and storage system can include, but is not limited to a vest, one or more storage compartments, one or more fishing rod holders, one or more storage containers, one or more support members, one or more straps, one or more loop systems, and one or more safety loop handles. The fishing rod and equipment storage system can allow for fishing rods to be held securely and firmly in place, limiting any jostling motion, and held above the water, limiting any potential contact with the water. In one or more embodiments, the wearable storage system is configured to allow access to the equipment and fishing rod(s) stored therein without the need to remove the wearable.

A fishing rod-enclosing and reel-protecting system is disclosed. The system includes a bag sized for enclosing at least one fishing rod and its attached fishing reel. The bag, elongated and oriented along a longitudinal axis, has an opening oriented along the axis. The system includes an elongated zipper fixed to edge margins of the bag adjacent the opening and oriented along the axis. The zipper has opposite end portions and includes a spaced-apart pair of zipper pulls at each end of the zipper for enlarging the opening when the pulls are drawn apart or closing the opening when the pulls are drawn together.

A fishing rod-enclosing and reel-protecting system is disclosed. The system includes a bag sized for enclosing at least one fishing rod and its attached fishing reel. The bag, elongated and oriented along a longitudinal axis, has an opening oriented along the axis. The system includes an elongated zipper fixed to edge margins of the bag adjacent the opening and oriented along the axis. The zipper has opposite end portions and includes a spaced-apart pair of zipper pulls at each end of the zipper for enlarging the opening when the pulls are drawn apart or closing the opening when the pulls are drawn together.

A two piece fishing rod storage assembly, especially designed to be mounted on a automobile roof rack, is provided. The rear assembly is installed on the rear roof rack crossbar and the front assembly is installed on the front roof rack crossbar. The rear assembly is comprised of a plurality of hollow tube sections connected to each other, running parallel to each other, and longitudinally with the automobile. In the rear of and spanning the inside of the hollow tube sections are a gimbal attached rod to prevent rotation of the fishing rod while in the rack. The front assembly is an alligator style horizontal clamping apparatus which clamps around the midsection or tip of a fishing rod and locks closed to prevent theft.

A two piece fishing rod storage assembly, especially designed to be mounted on a automobile roof rack, is provided. A rod holder mounting system including first and second mounting bracket sub-assemblies adapted to couple to first and second opposing ends of a rod holder sub-assembly. The first and second mounting bracket sub-assemblies respectively couple to first and second opposing ones of a vehicle's existing tie down bracket coupling locations, existing tie down brackets, or a tool box, and the rod holder sub-assembly includes a cross bar with rod holder tubes and first and second locking systems adapted to removably couple the cross bar to the first and second mounting bracket sub-assemblies, respectively. The rod holder mounting system allows for the transportation of fishing rods and reels in a vehicle and locks both the rod holder sub-assembly to the vehicle and the rods and reels to the mounting system.
