MODULAR FISHING-LURE SYSTEM AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURE
A fishing lure system includes a link and link enclosure and a variety of attachments. The enclosure includes a channel dimensioned to snugly fit over the link and defined by walls of a rigid material such as to resist deformation of the link when the link is under stress (e.g., a pulling fish). The link may be attached to a spinnerbait frame that is constructed of a specially looped elongated component (e.g., wire) forming two legs at roughly 90 degrees to each other. The frame and loop are formed through a series of wire bends that support the 90 degree angle against deformation when the frame is under stress. The link may be attached to a swimbait body constructed with a cavity within which the lure’s hook is substantially concealed. The link or frame may be attached to a spinnerbait blade comprising an outer blade encapsulating and inner feature.
Novel Fishing Lure
The disclosure provides various components for a fishing lure. These components include a Hard Bodied Ballast Oscillator (“HBBO”) which oscillates around various axes, an HBB with positive lift that rises during retrieval, and a hook for use in a rigid body which, while being fished, remains at least partially inside the body and reliably pointing upwards, and which, when the fish bites, is at least partially exposed. In some cases multiple components may be connected to each other via a stiff wire and designed to maintain, in the water, a particular orientation of the components relative to each other.
FISHING LURE LINE ATTACHMENT SYSTEM
The present invention discloses a fishing lure. The fishing lure comprises a head having an aperture. The aperture is configured to receive a fishing line therethrough. The fishing lure further comprises a body structure having a channel to enable passage of the fishing line from the head through a longitudinal axis of the body structure and extend beyond the body structure. The head is configured to lock with the body structure while locking the fishline therein. The fishing lure further comprises a flexible weed guard mounted over the body.
FISHING LURES CONFIGURED TO JUMP AND FLY
Fishing lures including a front body, a middle body, an aft body, a first wing, and a second wing. The front body has an aerodynamic and hydrodynamic profile and is positively buoyant in water. The front body extends along a longitudinal axis from a first end to a second end and extends along a lateral axis from a first lateral side to a second lateral side. The middle body extends along the longitudinal axis from a third end proximate the second end to a fourth end. The aft body is coupled to the middle body proximate the fourth end and defines a hook opening. The hook opening receives a hook projecting beyond an outer surface of the aft body. The first wing and the second wing are coupled to the front body and disposed on the first lateral side and the second lateral side, respectively.
Multi-facet lure
The present invention relates to an improved fishing lure having the ability to be camouflaged. More particularly, the present invention relates to a fishing lure having multiple catching devices with capacity for varying the bait and size of lures, having a built-in compartment adapted for the insertion of live bait or chum used in the attraction of fish.
A SYSTEM FOR ANGLING
The invention relates to a system for angling, said system comprising, at least a first unit and a second unit, which when assembled forms a part of an angling gear, characterized by, said system comprising, a releasable snap coupling assembly that can lock the first and the second units together. The system may comprise a first and a second unit, which when assembled forms a part of an angling gear with an enclosure in which a line can be mounted in such a way that the units can slide on the line in the longitudinal direction of the line. The first unit comprises a groove in which the line can be laid. The second unit comprises a portion made complementary to the groove such that the enclosure is created when the first and the second units are assembled. The system comprises a releasable snap coupling assembly that can lock the first and the second units together.
FISHING CAPTURE LURE
In accordance with one aspect of the present disclosure, a fishing lure is provided that includes a body having an opening to receive a fish and at least one hook connected to the body. The body includes capture portions having a spaced apart, open configuration that permits fish to be positioned in the opening of the body and a closer, closed configuration wherein the capture portions capture the fish in the opening of the body.
FISHING LURE
A lure is disclosed. The lure comprises a head, a tail, a first channel extending inside the head to the tail, a pair of hind legs extending from the tail and including a first leg having a first foot, a second leg having a second foot, the first foot being connected to the second foot forming a foot body having a second channel. The lure has a line having a first end and a second end, and the second end is provided through the first channel and the second channel. The second end is connected to the foot body. The lure may resemble a frog, insect, or amphibian.
Fishing lure systems
A fishing lure system with an example having a two-part fishing lure having a replaceable hook-retainer carriage assembly which is removably insertable in an elastomeric body component. When configured as a two-part lure, the fishing lure may be configured with a flexible elastomeric body component with a precisely positioned preformed cavity in the head region for receiving a weighted hook-retainer carriage. The carriage may be inserted into the lure through a slit or passageway. The elastomeric bodies, hooks and weighted carriage assemblies of one example are independently removable and replaceable. The carriage assembly of one example includes an integral hook eye retaining loop and hook shank retainers which exit through passageways from the preformed cavity to the dorsal surface of the elastomeric body. The eyelet and retainers may be configured to position an upward pointing hook that is removably secured adjacent the outside dorsal surface of the lure.
