Helmet with gear-constraint transformable chin guard structure
A helmet with a gear-constraint type transformable chin guard structure may include a shell body, a chin guard and two branches on the chin guard, wherein a supporting base, the branch, an inner gear, an outer gear and a drive member form an associated mechanism, the inner gear and the outer gear are rotatable about fixed axes and constitute a meshing constraint pair, the inner gear and the branch are in sliding fit with each other and constitute a sliding constraint pair, and the drive member transfer the motion of the outer gear to the branch and causes the chin guard to make an extension/retraction displacement relative to the shell body, such that the chin guard makes an turnover motion while also recombining a reciprocating motion, thereby realizing a transformation between a full-helmet position and a semi-helmet position.
SHIELD LOCK MECHANISM AND HELMET
A shield lock mechanism for attachment to a shell includes a holding member configured to be moved by an external operation between a holding position at which a shield is held and an attachment-detachment position at which the shield can be attached or detached, a biasing member configured to constantly bias the holding member toward the holding position, and a restriction member configured to be moved by an external operation between a restricting position at which of the holding member arranged at the holding position is restricted and a cancelling position at which the restriction is cancelled.
PIVOTING SHIELD ASSEMBLY FOR HAT
A pivoting shield assembly for hats is revealed. The pivoting shield assembly includes mounting slots arranged at two sides of a hat, a pivot base mounted to each mounting slot, a first connecting rod and a second connecting rod each of which having one end pivotally connected to the pivot base and the other end pivotally mounted to a shield, and a pathway groove disposed on an inner side of the first connecting rod. The pivot base includes an elastic locking piece which is mounted and moveable in the pathway groove correspondingly. Thereby lifting up and pulling down of the shield are more precise and having different stages. The pivoting shield assembly for hats is practical.
Automatic visor locking system
A helmet with a visor includes structures that engage to prevent inadvertent retraction of the visor. The visor may be pressed against a shoulder formed around the face opening of the helmet responsive to an inward force. Arms securing the visor the helmet may be include a slot permitting sliding to facilitate this movement. The arms may include an arcuate slot and a radial slot engaging a guide pin mounted to the helmet. With the visor down, the guide pin slides within the radial slot. A protrusion on the visor may be urged into a receptacle on the helmet in response to an inward force. A latch may engage the helmet when the visor is down and be releasable manually.
HINGEPLATE MECHANISM
A closed face motorcycle helmet includes a shell with an eyeport and a shield attached for hinged or pivoted motion between a closed or lowered position covering and sealing the eyeport and an open position or raised position displaced above the eyeport. A hinge plate is attached to the shell on each side and includes a moving pivot socket into which a hub of the shield is rotatably disposed for hinged movement and rearward movement of the shield between the raised and lowered positions.
PROTECTIVE HELMET WITH A SHELL AND A MOVABLE VISOR
A protective helmet with a movable visor. The protective helmet includes a shell with an open facial region as well as the visor. The visor is movable between a first position, in which the visor at least partially covers said open facial region and at least one second position, in which the visor lies on the shell substantially outside of the open facial region. The visor includes at least one first element of a detachable fastening element arranged on an edge of the visor. The shell includes at least two second elements of the detachable fastening element arranged on the shell such that each of the second elements of the detachable fastening element may hold the visor in the first and said at least one second position, respectively, by forming a releasable connection with the first element.
Helmet mount for viewing device
Improved helmet mounting devices for an optical device are provided. The mounting devices herein include dual pivot axes providing multiple flip options for pivoting the viewing device and/or mount up and away from the user's line of sight. The dual pivot axes and multiple flip positions also allow the unit to be adapted for a variety of viewing devices.
Helmet Mounted Visor
A helmet mounted visor includes a lens that may be configured to extend across substantially all of a user's face. The helmet mounted visor may include a pair of mount arms coupled to the lens and each configured to releaseably mount to a mount attached to a helmet. The pair of mount arms may each including first, second and third portions. The first portion may be rotatably coupled to the second portion about a first axis. The first portion may be rotatably coupled to the third portion about a second axis. The second axis may be generally perpendicular to the first axis. A locking mechanism may be provided and configured to selectively retain the first portion relative to the second portion in and between a use position where the lens is positioned in front of the user's face and a stowage position where the lens is positioned proximate the top of the helmet.
Brim Shade and Hinge
A brim shade has a shade element, a clip, and a hinge that joins the shade element and the clip to make the brim shade. The shade element and the hinge combine to create a shade that does not allow the light to get past the brim shade. The brim shade can be adjusted through 360 degree rotation and along the side of a hat to provide protection to the wearer.
