TUFTED CARPET
A tufted carpet comprising a secondary backing which defines a volume being a parallelepiped having three pair of parallel faces, a first pair of parallel faces defining a upper surface of the secondary backing and a lower face of the tufted carpet, at least a second pair of parallel faces being inclined with respect to the first pair of parallel faces under an angle α1 less than 90°, preferably in the range of 10 to 87°, the angle being the smallest angle measured between the planes defining the first pair of parallel faces and second pair of parallel faces.
Border, edge or pattern carpet tile design, manufacture and installation
Design and manufacture of tufted articles, carpet tile webs and carpet tiles, and installation of carpet tiles, having different color, pile height, pile texture or other characteristics that, together with similar other such tiles, may be installed to create borders, edges or other multiple-tile designs, usually without any of the tiles looking out of place or improperly oriented relative to nap or the direction the tile is “facing.”
SURFACE COVERING SYSTEM
A new surface covering system (1) comprising a panel (10) and a base (20), suitable for covering at least a portion of a surface of a building or at least being part of a portion of such surface is presented, wherein the panel (10) and the base (20) are provided with complementary mechanical means (30), (40) for removably fixing or securing the panel (10) on the base (20).
A METHOD TO REMOVABLY CONNECT A CARPET PRODUCT TO A SURFACE AND A DOUBLE FACE TAPE FOR USE IN THE METHOD
The invention pertains to a method to removably connect a carpet product having a pile side and a fibrous back side to a surface, wherein the method comprises the step of adhering a double face tape with a first side of the tape to the fibrous back side of the carpet product and connecting the carpet product to the surface by adhering the second side of the double face tape to the surface, the first side of said double face tape is provided with multiple hooks extending from this side and having a length of 0.1-10 mm, and the second side of said double face tape is provided with multiple adhesive nano fibres extending from the second side, each fibre having a distal tip that has a surface extending perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the fibre, the surface having a diameter of 1-900 nm. The invention also pertains to a carpet product and double face tape for use in the above described method.
MAT LOCKING STRIP AND MAT SYSTEM
A mat locking strip (20) for being attached to an edge portion of a mat (10) and for interconnecting a plurality of mats (10) is provided. The locking strip (20) comprises: a longitudinally extending body (30) having a top side (31) and a bottom side (32), each side (31, 32) comprising a plurality of protruding ridges (34) defining intermediate trenches (36), the ridges (34) having a continuous extension along the longitudinal extension of the body (30); the body (30) having a first end configured to be arranged closest to the mat (10) and a second end configured to be arranged farthest away from the mat (10); wherein the ridges (34) of the top side (31) of the body (30) are arranged opposite the trenches (36) of the bottom side (32) of the body (30), and the trenches (36) of the top side (31) of the body (30) are arranged opposite the ridges (34) of the bottom side (32) of the body (30).

MODULAR AMBULATORY SURFACE
A modular ambulatory surface exhibits terrain variations for emulating a walking surface for ambulatory rehabilitation. Ambulatory mobility, or basic walking from alternated leg movements, is one of the most basic capabilities enjoyed by humans, and therefore can be devastating if suddenly compromised. A number of modular surfaces each exhibit different terrain qualities, and are joined together according to a prescribed sequence of desired, rehabilitative terrain. A flexible or resilient walking surface encapsulates shaped, load bearing elements that define the rehabilitative walking surface. Joinable edges have a pattern of protrusion, receptacles or similar fixtures for coupling to an adjacent module. A series of joined, modular surfaces allows simulation of an outdoor surface and variations thereof that are otherwise difficult to provide in a modern commercial facility with fixed planar flooring.
Interlocking carpet tile
The invention relates to a flat woven carpet tile (1) with a warp direction and a weft direction. The carpet tile (1) has three or more edges extending along a circumference of the carpet tile. The carpet tile comprises a plurality of indentations (12) and protrusions (13) along all edges. The indentations (12) and protrusions (13) are shaped, dimensioned and located so that the carpet tile (1) is adapted to be joined with abutting identically shaped carpet tiles by mutual interlocking of pairs of mating indentations and protrusions along all the edges in order to form a seamless and coherent carpet. At least some of the protrusions (13) comprise transversely extending gripping elements (14) and the mating indentations (12) comprise corresponding transversely extending notches (15). The gripping elements (14) and notches (15) are dimensioned so that a good interlocking is ensured even if a pulling force is applied in a plane of the carpet tiles in a direction in which the pulling force would otherwise pull the carpet tiles apart. The present invention also relates to a method of manufacturing such a carpet tile, and in particular a method comprising use of laser cutting.

Flooring System
This invention relates to a flooring system comprised of a plurality of washable, multi-component floor mats. The floor mats contain a textile component and a base component. The textile component and the base component are attached to one another by a variety of mechanisms, including magnetic attraction. The magnetic attraction is provided by incorporation of magnetic particles in both the textile and base components. The textile component is designed to be soiled, washed, and re-used, thereby providing ideal end-use applications in areas such as building entryways.
