Scissors lift for a wheelchair

The present invention relates to a scissors lift comprising a bottom frame, a top frame and a scissors mechanism arranged between said bottom frame and said top frame to displace said bottom frame and said top frame relative to each other by transfer of an actuation force. The scissors mechanism comprises a central hollow scissors arm delimited between opposite scissors arm surfaces, wherein said central hollow scissors arm has a bottom pivotal connection connecting it to said bottom frame and a top pivotal connection connecting it to said top frame. Further, the mechanism comprises two passive scissors arms being pivotally connected to said bottom frame and pivotally connected to said top frame. Each of said two passive scissors arms are pivotally connected to said central hollow scissors arm on said opposite scissors arm surfaces of said central hollow scissors arm. Further, the scissors lift comprises a motor providing said actuation force, said motor located between said opposite scissors arm surfaces of said central hollow scissors arm. Thereby, the motor may be protected and at least partially enclosed by the scissors lift and even by the central hollow scissors arm, allowing a safer and/or more easily maintained scissors lift.

The present invention is a mobile hyperbaric unit including a vehicle having a vehicle chassis with a front cabin and a rear bed. A partition can extend upwardly from the rear bed at a position next to the cabin. A pod can be removably attachable to the vehicle chassis, the pod can be sized and shaped to occupy and rest upon the rear bed. A detachable connection can enable attachment or detachment of the pod from the vehicle chassis. The partition can have a portion that extends at least partially over the pod top wall. A pod chassis enables the pod to be transported independently of the vehicle chassis. A control station that has ambient pressure can be located in between the partition and the pod. A desired pressure that is not ambient pressure can be maintained within the pod interior by support systems on the vehicle.

WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE SEATING LOCATION WITHIN A VENUE

The wheelchair accessible seating locations provide new immersive experiences to people using wheelchairs in viewing an event at a venue while being ADA-compliant. These wheelchair accessible seating locations can be moved along one or more principal axes, such as the x-axis, the y-axis, and/or the z-axis of the Cartesian coordinate system to provide some examples, as the people using wheelchairs is viewing the event. These wheelchair accessible seating locations can oscillate along the one or more principal axes to generate vibrations to create the experience of touch to the people using wheelchairs to provide these new immersive experiences to the people using wheelchairs in viewing the event. These movements of the wheelchair accessible seating locations can coincide with, for example, be synchronized to, the event to provide the people using wheelchairs with a substantially similar immersive experience as other spectators of the event that are seated in the seats within the venue.

Seat module for a motor vehicle

A seat module for a motor vehicle that includes a carrier element having at least one seat row upon which at least two seats are secured. Each seat row has walls defining an opening which is accessible from outside of the motor vehicle and which extends laterally as a hollow space into the carrier element. The walls are fixed at least partially peripherally to facilitate raising of the seat module via introduction of a lifting element from outside of the motor vehicle into the hollow space for installation of the seat module into the motor vehicle or removal of the seat module from the motor vehicle.

Lift for telescopic passenger stairs for boarding passengers in wheelchairs on a plane

A lift apparatus for telescopic passenger stairs enabling disabled passengers with impaired mobility to board a plane and to telescopic aeroplane passenger stairs with the said lift. The lift apparatus moves the lift regardless of the degree of extension of the telescopic staircase, with a moveable guide rail installed into a lower staircase, which can travel to the top of an upper staircase if needed. The guide rail in the lower part serves as a fixed guide rail for the lifting platform, onto which a passenger in a wheelchair is wheeled, wherein the platform moves along the guide rail. When the platform reaches the end of the guide rail, it is locked in place, after which the guide rail itself then moves along the track of the upper part of the staircase, wherein it is connected to the guide rail via wheels. The described movement is enabled by a system comprising an endless chain, guide rollers and wheels, a drive sprocket and a drive, and the said guide rail.
